InactiveInstead of a mass traffic exchange (that comes with the problems you mention), consider forming your own co-op. You can do a joint venture with one other complimentary webmaster to swap traffic, or you can get your own targeted group together.
Hope that helps!

Rebecca

InactiveDean still runs the Safari, and that is a good exchange for affiliates.

Inactivethanks incognitog, Dominique.

Yes, but there is little shortcoming in your own swap traffic – it has not referrals tiers. For small traffic sites referrals’ credits(traffic) can be very useful.

InactiveThe safari has been running for about 3 years now.
It was formed due to the shortfalls mentioned and also the lack of quality gambling traffic available then and now.
Basically the principle has always been site traffic exchange between gambling portal webmasters and to keep the traffic pure gambling and this has been maintained.
Unfortunately, some undue comments upon my expulsion from the GPWA did result in a lot of webmasters abandoning the project. It still remains strong with some 64 members and around 3 requests per week to join.
It is a free service with an 80% return ratio, if interested visit http://www.gamblingsafari.com.
The rules are no popups and traffic must be pure gambling only to benefit all. All applications are manually processed.

InactiveA lot of surfers (including me) use pop-up blockers these days, so any kind of exit traffic program that is based on a pop-up will become less and less effective as time goes by.
Also, the cheater factor in those programs is always a problem. Years ago, I started the first (I think) banner exchange program for gambling webmasters called “Bet Exchange.”
We tried very hard to run an honest program, but it was a nightmare policing the webmasters to prevent cheating even though we had the program custom designed to prevent it. Eventually, we just gave up and shut down the banner exchange program. I have no experience with gamblingsafari, but as a general rule, I am very leery of any kind of “free” traffic exchange no matter how honest the operators are because there are always a few “bad apples” who try to screw everybody over.
My suggestion is to make contacts on this board and do exit traffic exchanges directly with other webmasters that you know and trust.
Does anybody have a javascript code that will redirect to another website page on exit instead of doing a pop-up or pop-under? I think that would be more effective. Although, now that I think of it, I don’t know if that would be technically possible since the “exit” would close the original window.
The problem I have with “pop-unders” is that often I don’t even notice them because I usually have multiple web pages open on my PC at the same time and if they are “under” the other pages, I don’t even see them.
