    Hi,

When will Intertops offer EcoCard as an affiliate payment method?

Wire transfers from Intertops are expensive — 1% of the amount transferred, plus $30, plus bank fees on my end.

When other programs pay me via EcoCard, I’m always paid exactly what I earned. I don’t lose money via wire fees.

Granted, when I withdraw the money from EcoCard, I pay wire fees, but if I can reduce the number of wire transfers I make in a month (i.e. by having everyone pay into my EcoCard account), I can save hundreds of dollars.

Yes I agree and my players would be in the casino more with Eco as well!

While we’re on the subject of Ecocard— I was wondering if everybody gets hit with a $20 charge from a “corresponding” bank on each withdrawal.

    Ecocard charges $10
    My bank charges $10

But the wire always comes up in my ledger $20 short of what I withdrew after accounting for these fees. I wrote Eco to ask them about this and they say it’s not them, it must be a corresponding bank fee. My bank says they don’t know anything about it—only that the wire was received for said amount. I don’t want to go asking too many questions to call attention to the transfer, hell I just feel lucky to be getting any $$ at all…but I was wondering if this is a standard thing or if I’m being shaved an extra $20 per transaction.

EcoCard charges $10, then they send the money to another bank that will wire the money to you. That bank charges $20. This is the way it’s been since I started using EcoCard a few months ago.

So, in reality each withdrawal from EcoCard will always cost you at least $30. However, you’ll only see a $10 charge in the EcoCard interface because the other $20 charge happens after the money is out of EcoCard’s hands.

Thanks for the info…I figured it was like that but since they don’t tell you that up front I just wanted to be sure I wasn’t getting screwed. All things considered it’s a reasonable price to pay. MAN do I miss neteller.

As this is now up and running for quite some time, what do you think about it? Is it fulfilling your needs?
