This means that the player cannot withdraw the bonus or any winnings on it until he rakes in 100 hands and makes a first deposit. Standard clause for most poker rooms and/or casinos.

So… the ‘no deposit’ bonus is useless until the player makes a deposit?

Hi Fiction, I wouldn’t exactly call this useless at all. A promotion like this gives new players an oppurtunity to try the games with no risk at all. In all fairness, they ask you to play at least 100 raked hands, they certainly don’t want you claiming the bonus and immediately cashing it out. And as far as requiring a deposit before a cashout, I think this is a good idea from a casino or poker rooms standpoint. This ascertains that the player that recieved the bonus is in the position to make a successful deposit, thus the free bonus money given was not in vain because this player has the potential of becoming a loyal player. These requirements are not unreasonable at all. Would you rather test the games out on your dime or theirs. And if the player loses nothing is lost, you only need to make a deposit in the event you want to cash out or continue playing. I hope this makes it a little more clear for you.

    Hi Fiction and BonusGeek,

Thanks BonusGeek for stepping in and clarifying the T&C’s of the no deposit bonus.

As mentioned, many online casions have Terms and Conditions for each bonus and it is very common to have a wagering requirement and deposit requirement before any winnings can be cashed out. This is a security measue taken by casinos and can assure the loyalty of players and minimize bonus abusers.

If you have any further questons I would be happy to assist you.
