Inactiveit can happen imo
quite normalNovember 12, 2005 at 8:28 pm #676295Anonymous
Inactiveusually you should have a registration within 20 downloads.. Actually a purchasing player within 20 downloads.
If this is happening with one casino or group I would ask them to check into it. They may be counting attemped downloads, which could be the same person trying to download many times. Or there could be a tracking issue.

InactiveSometimes it could happen when a casino or poker room has automated download once you get to their homepage. Users used to click on the “yes” button accidentaly and later when they realize the real action they stop the download. It depends on the casino tracking software if unfinished downloads count to your stats or not.
And it can be that the player downloads the software, but don’t sign up with the program. I think it is normal.

InactiveIt varies a lot from program to program. Some are better than others but also, apparently, credit cards play a big part. A lot of players have CC issues – like their providers not allowing casino deposits etc so its not uncommon to get a number of players that download, install then realise they can’t use their card to deposit.
Someone nice told me about that recently :banger: Check out the latest Roxy Palace affiliate newsletter.

InactiveDepending on how you sent them to the casino/poker site it can affect the sign up ratio. If you told them about a great bonus, but maybe didn’t explain the terms surrounding the bonus, they might not deposit the money. If they get to the site and are turned off by the look-and-feel they might look elsewhere. There are many other examples, but you the idea. 40 downloads could result in a deposit, but not for certain, it also depends on what you are marketing, casino or poker. For instance, a lot of people download poker software, but then only play at free tables, then a few weeks or months later after they are comfortable with the game play, they might open up a real money account.

Inactivethanks for your input guys!
with the same traffic I get really different conversion rates. some casinos are as good as 1 depositors in 4-5 downloads while others dont even get a signup in 20. i guess this also depends on whether the downloaded software is chunky or not. i tried downloading one of casinos which wasn’t converting well and straight away understood why. it just took too long to download the software even on broadband and it just looked “crap” (pardon my english)
cheerz.
ps.
