Unfortunately I don’t get notes by email when somebody replies to my threads or pms me.
The feature to get this email notifications is enabled in my user cp.
Can somebody please help?

Hey cat,

Are you subscribing to the threads that you post in and is your e-mail notification set to “Instant”?

These are the settings that I have configured on my account and everything works on my end. Check out the image below and make sure that the notification column of your thread subscriptions folder reads “Instant”

If you are already setup in this way, you can PM me your account details and I’ll gladly dig deeper and look into the issue.

thanks. The instant pm is enabled.

I only need to subscribe to the threads in my cp? Ok.

But I still don’t get new pm info emails.

That is rather strange. I’ve attached a screenshot of what my control panel looks like so you can see the options that I have set. If your cp also looks like this, you can pm me your password so I can further troubleshoot the issue since this problem seems to be affecting your account only.

I apologize if I’m derailing here, but I thought it might be somehow related. I turned off the email notification a couple of days ago and I’m still getting emails.

I’ve set my options like yours besides “I want to get email messages from other members” cause I want to get them.

Your receive email notifications of pms is not checked.
I’d like to get those mails also.

I am subscribed to that thread but have not gotten an email note.

I’ll be sure to look into this problem and let you know if I find anything.

Although my e-mail notification of PM box is unchecked, I still receive e-mails whenever I am PM’ed, so I can see that something is happening here. Now the hard part is tracking the sucker down :3eyes:

Cat, have you checked to make sure that those messages aren’t automatically going to your spam or junkmail folders? If you have a super-tight email security app, there’s a small chance that that’s where the problem may be. Make sure the following email address is safe-listed:
