Has anyone bought or sold a name via moniker? He’s certainly gotten that name in front of a lot of webmasters. Is it all hot air?
My friend is trying to sell his onlinesportsbooks.co.uk site, at moniker, for $7500, too much for me, but when i looked at the names that are listed $5-$10K, my buddy’s domain is pretty good. http://marketplacepro.moniker.com/profile/property_id/15741188/?return=15626898/price/5001-10000.99
people are trying to sell mediocre us state lottery domains for $5000+
again, anyone participating at moniker successfully? Did you sell something there dom? i’m trying to see if it’s worth the effort to post a few items (domains).

July 9, 2007 at 5:35 pm #742033AnonymousInactiveI had submitted what I thought were 10 very good sports and casino domains and only one of them was accepted and that was for the silent auction which does not have much value.
On the positive side i used moniker on a brokerage deal for a domain that sold for over $20K and it went very smooth. I can recommend them for that.
I have been following their last 2-3 auctions and see that very few gaming domains get accepted, the last one had only one and that was slots.com but it did not sell. I trust the company but the department that approves which domains enter the live auction seem to not like or value gaming domains.
