InactiveThey had better……One of their major customers (last I checked) was Harrod’s Department Store. I don’t know if Harrod’s still uses them (The CEO now runs an industry organization).
But it would be BAD KARMA if Grand Virtual played games with partners.
Given that, I doubt it.

InactiveGrandvirtual doesn’t accept players from the US.
So maybe that’s the reason you do get a lot of downloads but no real players. You could test your stats by buying some chips yourself.

InactiveThat was their policy since 1998/1999. The company was started by 2 Russian born MIT Students in Boston sometime in the mid-1990’s.
They have (had?) Harrod’s as their client.
The last thing the want to do is
(1) Jeapordize their relationship with Harrods by taking US wagers
(2) Jeapordize themselves legally as they are located in Boston.
Like I said, they are very unlikely to play games with anyone in this business.

InactiveI could be confusing companies here but don’t these guys have a bad rep. for not paying their players and / or affiliates or something along those lines. I am pretty sure i saw alot of negative press on them somewhere.

Inactive@ Jigga,
I think you have seen a thread somewhere about them and connections to Elka Systems or what not… I’m not at all sure on what that really is, or how well informed the whole debate on that part is.
All I know is that from Winter 2001 to Winter 2002, all partners and players were indeed payed. Was kind of surprised when I first saw the whole thread on them being rogues.
Anyway, That’s the infor I have to give.

Oh… And the Gambling Federation Party last night (Thursday night) at Newtown was a blast.
