    remco –

I have to say that I have no knowledge of cyberthrill whatsoever.

I do however know about GrandVirtual, and from what I know, that 3 year old report may or may not have been true, but they do now operate honestly. Payments are sent out (or was anyway before December 2002) and I dont think there are any serious things to worry about there. ;)

    Thanks for your reply Swedishguy,
But what happened after dec. 2002 ?

In the middle of Dec.2002, they suddenly closed down the Montreal Office.

I have no doubt that they are still paying players and partners. It’s just that they are now doing it probably from Boston or Los Angeles.

All in all, try them and see if it works out for you. Only bad thing is that you cant take US/Canadian players with them.

    remco,
I know that this is still not an answer to your question, but I want to thank you for that more than interesting link:

    http://www.hackology.com/projects/cyberthrill/report.html

To my grand amazement, I discovered when reading the hackology report that Ecashpay is just another company that is attached to this whole scam being related to Elka Enterprises and Internet Entertainment. I’ll never see a cent of what they owe me but I am thankful to you for giving me the link. I never would have made the connection on my own without having read the hackolgy report you posted,
    Many thanks !

    jeff,

ECashPay and 2K Services, Inc have nothing to do with the companies you mentioned.

Somehow someone has given a name to our software: Elka. I don’t know where that name came from, but it seems to be smashed all over the boards.

    VLAD,
How long have you worked for this company you are presently at (2k Services and Ecashpay?) They are very much related to Internet Entertainment and Elka services, here are a few connecting dots to the puzzle..
Did you read the hackology report about Elka Services and Internet Entertainment ? When I read it myself and noticed the name “Leo” as a contact person for Internet Entertainment I wondered if it was any connection with Leo Kuvayer… Just a hunch when I was reading it. So I started my own search and continued my own investigation… Here is what I found:

Internet Entertainment : shares the same IP address as
    ELKA Enterprise:
    NS1 ELKA SYS.com 207.139.161.10
    NS2 ELKA SYS.com 207.139.161.11
    “contact Leo Keller”
Internet Entertainment: shares the same phone
    number as 2K Services
    both being 1-514-931-2572
ELKA Enterprise : as mentioned above shares same IP as
    Internet Entertainment
also shares the same address as 2K Services
    3500 Maisoneuve
    Montreal , PQ
2K Services: has the exact same fax number
    as ECASHPAY’S fax
    514-985-4212
    contact: Leo Kuvayer
So how can you say that none of these companies are
connected? Is all of this information coincidental to you? This has nothing to do with just “software”…

    Jeff0045,

I will not comment that you are correct or incorrect that in fact these 2 companies are connected.

    HOWEVER,
the connection itself cannot be proven or disproven because they use the same name server.

An example would be if you hosted a website with my company, your site and my sites would each have the same name servers….but that would not automatically mean our companies were connected except that you would now be a client.

Also, depending on the type of content your site had, would also dictate what IP Address would be assigned to your site.

I have numerous clients that have the same IP Adress, and yet their companies are definately different entities.

The sharing of IP Adresses has been around a long time and allows hosting companies to stack websites on a single IP to cut down the number of “class C” addresses they must purchase.

There are other technical reasons to do this such as load balancing etc….

When looking for connections between company ownership and management, maybe you should look closer at the “Registrant” contact. (legal owner of the domain in ICANN’s eyes)

You can also look at administrative and billing contacts, (most often the same as registrant but sometimes this could be other companies)

The technical contact can sometimes be directly related to the Owner, but in some cases som Web Hosts require that they be listed as a tech contact on the domain so they may manage any dns changes etc…so that if a dns change must be made they can do so without having to wait for responses from the owners and so that the website will not be down during that time.

    Sorry to be so lengthy….

    Rick

    Hey Rick,
Thanks for the info on the IP search. But the IP search for this was not done on my part , I found it on the hackolgy report.
    Check this out if you wish to verify my findings on addresses and phone numbers ;

-pull out the hackology report (look at the registrant info
for Internet Entertainment = the phone number is 514-931-2572

    -now go to this link ;
    http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/results.jhtml;jsessionid=I5Q3J12ZIM0SGCWLEALCFEY?_requestid=3145465

Notice the phone number for 2kServices is the same as Internet Entertainment? 514-931-2572

They have several different addresses though depending on where you do your research. The one above shows to be 3400 Maisoneuve in Montreal but it is at 3500 Maisoneuve if you go here;… (Same address as Elka Enterprise at 3500 Maisoneuve found in the hackology report)

click the link and scroll down the screen :

    Jeff,

I am co-owner of 2K Services, Inc – the company that runs ECashPay.com and CashForClicks.com, and some other sites. We have never been involved with Internet Entertainment.

I once received childporn spam in my email box, checked whois, wanted to report the case. I called the number on whois, a woman picked up: “Barclays Bank, how may I help?”.

Nothining can stop me from starting up hackology2.com claiming that Barclays Bank is involved in childporn.

    Currently

it appears that many of the domains listed in the report, (which is over 3 years old) are owned by different people now.

Vlad, I remember you addressing the issue of the domain name purchase before, you may want to again now.

Jeff, I agree that it is good to be cautious, and you bring up some very good points, but I will take a guarded approach at this point.
