August in my experience has always been the worst month of the year.
I also believe that some casinos, most notably RTG’s, have had serious deposit issues (which a couple have confirmed).

… Ill do a search here aswelli second what justred said. furthermore, i can add that signups have been low all across the board for me including microgaming casinos. this has been taking place since mid-july.

Really very poor since mid July, but has picked up again over the past few days.
Hard to tell if it’s the summer of rankings, though as google has not been kind to a few of my terms recently…
I’d say August is 40% up on July for us.
August has been good for us at the European sportsbooks – not an unexpected phenomona as the club football has started again.
But we are also seeing increased turnover and profits at the casinos as well.
We’ve experienced a definite drop off for August, compared to the last 3 months, however when comparing to August the last 2 years, it’s quite average.
For the US market I can tell you it seems that people are holding on to their money as if they are waiting for something.

yes, they’re waiting for gas to drop and wages to rise
I se 50% drop off in signups from microgaming last 2 months (aslo nd accounts) but still se the same # of downloads…:wink-wink
The best thing I can say about August is thank God it is nearly over, very soft month. I had a ton of promotions running and that was the only thing that drove the business, that helped poker but other venues where way off. Get the kids back in school and let the clicks begin!
August ended with good revenues and strong singups for me
