I think it’s a great move. Social media has been stirring and this is definitely raising awareness! Just sucks not having Wikipedia…always made me look smarter than my peers!

So true! Could you imagine the madness that would have caused??? Between Google itself, gmail and google analytics, I’m thinking that would have caused way too much of a headache for people on a personal and professional front for Google to go that far- no?
The video in Matt Cutts video really puts it all into perspective – and seriously if you are in the US… do something about it please.

Nine co-sponsors, five in the Senate and four House members, began withdrawing their support for Hollywood-backed measures to combat piracy. Internet companies devoted home pages yesterday to opposing the bills, threatening a traditional lobbying effort led by the Motion Picture Association of America that assembled bipartisan support for the legislation.
