Bingo ! That’s all it is – an act of desperation. What else are they going to hang their hats on:– The “successful” Iraq war
– The huge budget deficit
– The robust economy…not !
– The booming stock market (ironic, over the last few weeks only)
– Controlled oil prices (again, ironic on the timing of the last few weeks)There ain’t nothin’ else……let’s preach morality and family values, that the Democrats so frivolously ignore ! What total bullshit !

Quote:The community standards issue (Miller Test) don’t apply on the Internet, because it’s a border-less society. If you’re in the US, they could attempt to apply it at the origin or destination of the transmission. There are places who have taken content offline because of this.
I’m sure most of us could do without pictures of people pooping on each other. :kissass: :toidy: Since it’s about protecting everyone’s children and other nonsense, it doesn’t likely stop there.
As prof was trying to say, this is a campaign. It doesn’t really have to be rooted in law, and the arguements they make for it don’t really have to be rooted in reality.

InactiveI’ve found that the biggest danger that internet porn users face are calluses.
After bitching for 25 years about the republicans, i’ve had 2 major predictions come true: 1) The country would move increasingly toward fascism. and 2) I would likely need to flee to Canada.
