Inactivei just received the same email and contacted them for more information.
seems to me like not a lot of people are keen on pushing bwin.com so they decided to leave no option for affiliates by removing the other brands from the program. strange call indeed…

Inactivejust got a reply from them:
You can continue to access your account and check your statistics / earnings on http://www.PokerAffiliate.com by using your Affiliate ID and password and , you will continue to earn commission all tough I higly recommend to join bwin now and take the promotional 50% rev share for this year. At bwin you can enjoy the whole variety of online-entertaining, it’s not only poker, it’s not only sports betting, it’s not only casino or games. It’s everything together.
whatever this means…my original question was “how are we supposed to promote pokerroom.com from 1st of december?”
lets see what happens…

GuestHi everyone,
We decided to put all our efforts on bwin poker. The reason is that we find bwin poker much better performing in affiliate marketing than Pokerroom , Europoker and CasinoRoom. Therefore we will stop our affiliate marketing activities for these 3 brands and we won’t pay for any newly acquired customers anymore as of 1.12.2008. This implies that we still pay you for acquired players before December 2008.
You will still earn from your existing customer base if you work on revenue share, but we want to move all acquisition efforts to bwin poker. In general affiliates can continue to promote PokerRoom also after dec. 1st, but it doesn’t make sense as you won’t earn for newly generated players.
