InactiveAll of my Migrogaming properties have sucked this month. At one program, I was in the hole by $20,000 for the entire month. The same player won three times, very early in the month. Then I had no action for the rest of the month, until this Monday and Tuesday. Someone came along and deposited nearly $4,000. Gee, thanks — couldn’t you wait until Dec. 1 to make that deposit???
Not exactly end-of-the-month shaving, but it’s frustrating anyway.

Welcome to CAP, PokerTitan.
MG is Microgaming, the largest casino software.
And yes, with the exception of Trident, all of MG sucks this month – big time.
It is so bad that I am finally making changes to my site that will allow me to react quicker to such trends and change the places where I send the bulk of my traffic a lot faster.
In future I will be swift in changing where my traffic goes.

vladcizsolMemberI had an RTG Casino (surprise, surprise) pull this same crap on me the last few months.
Last month I showed I was due a small comission all the way to the end of the month. When I never received it I posted here and the manager said “Oh you didnt earn enough to recieve payment” I was POSITIVE they owed me about $400, but sure enough when I went back and checked stats for October it vanished. I wasn’t happy, but I figured it wasnt enough money to get riled up about (I guess they figured this too :hmmm:)
Well guess what Christmas present they had in store for me this month? My stats showed I was due nearly $800 in commissions until TODAY when I was suddenly $3000 NEGATIVE!!!! :rasberry: :rasberry: :rasberry:

InactiveHey… This gives me a bit of an idea…
I would like to have a program that would, on a schedule, go to all of my affiliate programs…. harvest all of the stats…. and then store them in a database. Then have the ability to trend and analyze.
Anyone else interested in something like that?
I would really like to know ‘when’ something happened a little more accurately and I will never know otherwise.

I call it EXCEL … and it’s powered by user-power with 10 fingers and 10 minutes a day.
:wavey:Seriously though, I assume that all of your stats are by “user only” at these properties?
Nearly every sportsbook that I’m working on also give me the ability to report by date, and some will give me summaries by date as well as by campaign by date.
I can usually see the number of new users, total number of wagers, and stakes, and new signons, but I cannot get any individual user data. Never really seen the need for it ?
I’ve got one, GAMEBOOKERS, that just aggregates by USER each month, and that doesn’t seem to have “end of month” surprises.
Perhaps the end of month surprise is a CASINO thing … (he says leadingly …) .. or perhaps they simply save up all charges until the end of each month?

InactiveYes… I like Excel, but I would rather something gather my stats automagically.
The stats are not day by dat and there is no time given to a signup, download, or anything like that. If I were to ‘scrape’ that data from the aff program (via login), then I might be able to track my users a bit better.
I already track all the clicks from my site, so if I can correlate that data it might help me make some sense of the downloads / registrations and who those surfers are.

InactiveI got screwed this month too was i mostly promote poker but i do promote some casinos not much thou, had about 10 sign ups at the casino i promote and about 5800 in deposit early in the month so im looking at a 1450$ profit for them, and what do you know yesterday someone deposits $150 and i guess won and now im negative $233
Same thing happened last month but for a smaller amount.

InactiveAre these REALLY all winning players?
Are people REALLY suggesting that all MG sites are losing?
:notify:Are we sure that it’s not Bonus / Fraud / managers chargeback / and any other bloody fee that can be thorught of hitting the affiliate account ?
I’m just thinking that … if every MG site seems to lose big time at the end of the month … and WE REALLY believe that then …
(warning wild theory about to be postulated)
.. do you think it’s possible there’s a backdoor activated for code writers / employees / anyone(?) who plays on the last day of the month?
.. could it have been put there by a disgruntled / broke code-writer ??
:1circlingI mean what are the alternatives?
.. casinos lose money? Unlikely.
.. casinos get generous at month end? Very unlikely.
.. casinos are making up numbers? uh-oh … Plausible but scarey.
.. or the dodgy random number generator I posted above …It does make you think …

InactiveIt must be some kind of glitch – my commission for Nov just went to exactly $0.00
   :popcorn:If its not glitch – they must have some financial problems…

Bucking the trend of this thread. But November has been my best month to date – of which the vast majority of them are MG properties that I promote.

InactivePeople should also take into consideration that MG bring out new games almost every month and this usualy happens at the end of the month. Many players wait specifically for this before they play a lot.
