If greek39 showed up he would have loved to have met him.We had SO many new people at the event this year that we’ll need about a week to add names to all the photos. Plus we’ll be identifying everyone in the yearbook when it comes out. Believe it or not we have another 1500 photos of all the events! I do not think anyone was able to get away from our cameras!

I am still in sunny Florida (not so sunny and raining now), but wanted to quickly thank everyone for coming. I am forever amazed by the wonderful events our sponsors throw and how many people came this year. It truly is great evidence of the power of this event – a format Lou always knew would be a winner.

Anyways, I’ll be back in the office and posting more info this weekend. Talk to you all then!

InactiveI am doing a batch flickr upload of my stuff as well. If any of the sponsors want the hi-res pics, please email me ([email protected]) and I will figure out a way to get them to you.
Thanks all, for the break from the real world.

InactiveFrom a brand new (2 months old) affiliate, I have to say the CAP spring break was a great experience. It opened my eyes to the vast potential and scope of this industry. Meeting the real people behind those sites making $100K a month is an incredible experience. The information and insights you get in 5 minutes from one of these folks is more than you can get in 1000 google searches. The roundtable discussions were exceptional as well, with the experts telling you their views on exactly what your site needs to provide to be a success.
A special thanks to Holis for taking me under his wing  and introducing me to the movers and shakers of the affiliate and affiliate manager world. And yes, I will start a poker site damn it!

Once I get some time I will sort them properly and maybe even title them.
Again, for anyone wishing the hi-res versions, please pm me or email me.

InactiveI don’t know how I got here or when I arrived…
… but I’m home! :drunk2:
What an awesome time!
The best way to describe this event:I was sitting at the Clevelander club on nite one, sipping my second apple martini, and feeling somewhat buzzed. Someone asked me how I was feeling, and I said:
“You know what… I’m sitting here, and everywhere I look I see people who are my friends… people who I care about and have known for years. This is the best industry in the world… and these are the best people in the world”
Everyone please post so we know that we all made it home safe! :hehe:May 25, 2006 at 11:25 pm #693256Anonymous

InactiveI’m finally home also… I just wanted to say thanks to CAP for running the event and to all of the sponsors for all they did. As an affiliate manager, I truly appreciate all of the effort the programs made.
It was great to see old friends again, and make some new ones.
Cheers one and all…

Guestawesome, wicked, amazing friends and colleagues in this industry. In the 6 years I have been attending conferences this tops all of them. :capmiami:
Well done to Warren, Lou, Shannon and Marie – great balance of information, meetings and parties, and well done to all the sponsors for the great food and drinks – the sponsored events keep the spirit of the industry real…:drunk2:

InactiveHi All!
What an awesome time!!
A big “thank-you” from myself and the Roxy Affiliates Team to Lou, Marie, Shannon and Warren for organising this event, to the Sponsors who made the events possible (the parties, food and drinks were outstanding) and of course to everyone who attended.
I count myself exceptionally fortunate to be involved in an industry where I work and party with such fantastic people at amazing events like this and then still get to call a great deal of those involved my friends :colgate:
See you all soon!
Thanks again,
Nicole and the Roxy Affiliates Team

InactiveThe real world sucks. I miss Miami (it’s cold and rainy in Toronto).
It’s nice to be home, but it’s tough to sit in an office now, dreaming of my beach volleyball rematch with Islandman and Marty from nine.com
Plus I have so many less people around (friends, colleagues, hotel staff, etc) – it’s tough with all the quiet.
Lou, would you mind scheduling something for next week pls?
