It is always nice to see countries that choose regulation instead of prohibition. What Cyprus does with regards to online gambling will have very little influence on the industry as a whole, but in these troubled times all good news should be embrased.
I tend to disagree that Cyprus has little influence as it is one of the important hubs of many online gaming companies as many of the important players in this industry are based out of Cyprus.
I’d be interested to know if this is Greek Cyprus or Turkish Cyprus. As far as I know, the island is still divided – was there something I missed?
