Two things, I would never have expected that question. Secondly, I am assuming you are talking about South Africa so I would talk to Referback.

Inactivei guess its not a question of what i prefer to promote but more of what converts better with our visitors…playtech converts better, but stats can be dodgy due to shaving. cryptologic is much safer in that aspect, but doesn’t convert well…
my two cents…

I presume you mean shaving by the merchant? What as a matter of interest do you believe is the main failing with Cryptologic in terms of poor conversion?

InactiveI like cryptologic, it’s a better software IMO and in the end that wins.
Crypto converts better than playtech at the time, but neither of them does much for me.
I think you’ll get a variety of opinions and experiences.

vladcizsolMemberCrypto gets my vote also.

donar27MemberMany thanks everyone for your replies. If anyone can point me in the direction of additional software providers please feel free to contact me.
Unless there are suitable alternatives I’ll be recommending Cryptologic as the preferred software package.

InactiveI agree with Crypto also, but what about Microgaming?
They are introducing new slots every month almost as fast as Crypto.November 28, 2007 at 12:32 pm #755167Anonymous
InactiveMicrogaming is great, even though most of the slots they release are just re-graphic’d clones of existing slots.
They still seem to have the largest fan-base, though, for slots players.

For my site audience the Wagerworks games are the most popular with downloads smoking all other programs almost 10 to 1. So much so that I had to move them as they were stealing from the other programs which have a much wider demographic.
Of all platforms I tried I was always impressed with the Crypto software the most as it runs excellent. Although the graphics aren’t as elaborate as the Microgaming slots more players should really consider it as they have some games that can pay pretty good.

donar27MemberOK Many thanks everyone. Plenty to think about. I’ll be reviewing it all over the next week. We’re looking at South Africa as a venue at some stage but that’s not my brief. Many thanks once again to everyone who has contributed.

yes, by merchant.
its hard to pin point why playtech converts better than crypto with us. part of the reason is that we don’t work with that many crypto casinos, only 4 i believe, while we promote a lot more playtechs.
playtechs offer bigger currency and language variety, which i haven’t seen the same for cryptologic….
playtechs definitely offer bigger bonuses so they attract more new players, while cryptologic is better at retaining players.

K, since most of you guys voted for Cryptologic. Which Cryptologic Casino do you find the most successful for you? who would you recommend…
You will not go wrong with any of them. All of their Casinos are well reputed with great gambling services and top performance. Imo, Inter & Playboy are best of the best however.

JayLakinMemberI can’t help too much from an affiliate point of view (yet) but from a player point of view, I can’t see as there is too much to choose between Playtech or Cryptologic.
My two favourite sites as a player were/are Intercasino and Totesport. The customer support for both is fantastic and, if you are regular, the rewards you can get are awesome.
Inter run a lot of regular competitions and usually offer pretty regular “extra” deposit bonuses with pretty low wagering requirements. I’ve also had a few good days out courtesy of them. Totesport do similar and are very good at ticket/event prizes. I’ve had countless racing and football tickets from them (including a pair of tickets to the Carling Cup Final) and they also took me to Vegas earlier this year for the darts tournament.
Assuming you’re on a rev share deal and want to promote places that hang on to their players and get the best value out of them, I can’t recommend these two highly enough.
Hope this helps.
*edit* – just to clarify, though I’m sure everyone knows! Intercasino are on Crypto, Totesport on Playtech. Obvious down-side is neither take US players. Tote also don’t have a poker room, whereas Inter do.
