InactiveI agree – something changed with Rewards Affiliates a couple of months ago. I don’t know exactly what happened but everybody’s numbers dropped significantly.

InactiveIt seems they have a problem taking deposits from US players. This might explain the drop in earnings.

InactiveI see the opposite, CR back to normal last month, Brightshare down.
June 1, 2007 at 4:03 pm #738557Anonymous
InactiveThey are both real good programs. For me Brightshare has bout dropped dead over the last nine months while Rewards continues to get stronger. The one thing that hurts me with Brightshare is they bundle and a big player can wipe out all your earning for the month.

InactiveI am making almost exactly 10% of what I used to 3 months ago at CR

Brightshare is holding steady

InactiveIt never ceases to amaze me how programs can have such opposite results on different websites.
I suppose these factors come into play:
degree of exposure
match of keyword and promo
match of traffic type and promo
match of look and feel of referring site and casino
Any more ideas?

vladcizsolMemberDeja Vu….
June 1, 2007 at 5:31 pm #738569Anonymous
InactiveDefinitely deja vu…. has been a topic for as long as I can think back.
Also, what may be of interest is the % of players that are new versus several months old.
While I obviously agree that it is up to the casino to make players happy enough to stay loyal, there are types of players that will never stick.
Different sites attract different types of players, depending on traffic source and promos used. That plays a role in retention too.

InactiveIf it’s true that it’s difficult for U.S. players to deposit and/or withdraw at CR/RA casino properties, then obviously percentage of U.S. versus Non-U.S. players is a huge factor in who is being affected.

Guestya. However I must point out that CR is/has been trying out new and different methods to achieve deposits/ withdrawals.
degree of exposure
that’s not holding true because CR gets about 80% of my exposure if not more.
Don’t anybody get me wrong. I still think they’re tops but 2 months in a row at another program with about 20% the exposure … I had to give credit.
Not trying to take anything away from CR …. but rather was just trying to give Brightshare ( I stil hate their initials lol) … credit for climbing.
I would highly recommend both programs to anyone far and above all others. JMHO.

vladcizsolMemberYou could give them 100% and right now it wouldnt matter. Since February there has been a MAJOR problem there with players depositing and I began reporting this back in April.

InactiveI have seen a very, very sharp upturn in May with CR, after a few very lame months. Like 22x what Brightshare does.
I assume depositors are finding their way at CR and Brightshare likely wiped me out again with another winner, not sure.
Re. non US traffic – is equal at both.

As an affiliate, it doesn’t seem my players have a problem depositing with their casinos either. This was the best month of the year at Casino Rewards.

GuestI hope they’ve turned a corner. they have always been my best earner up until the last couple months and they still do okay …. but admittedly could be doing a bit better considering the amount of exposure they get.
I can say I’ve tested them and tested them and they always come out true blue….. so that reason alone is enough to keep them in top spots.
But Brigthshare is definitely breathing down their necks as bottom line is bottom line and for some reason they’ve not kept pace with the brightshare recently.
I haven’t given up. and again I reiterate this isn’t a shot at them. just a hat’s off to brightshare for coming along nicely.
Dom: what I”ve done is cut back to one casino with brightshare though I admittedly have several accounts with them because of partnerships I have with other webmasters. This has helped cut out the bundling situation and is only fair since if I have a winner it wouldn’t be fair to my partner to have that held against him/her since the winner might be from just my account if you get my meaning.
bundling is definitely a downside and I think holds them back in some cases but we’ve (or at least I’ve ) tried to make my case with them on this matter but so far …. I guess I’ve not made good enough case to get them to change.
