What forum software are you using? vBulletin offers this option
I am using invision power board for my forum. Anyone know how to set something like this up on that?

:stirpot:Can you explain a bit more about what you mean owldeath? I may be able to help but don’t quite understand what you want. I set up a phpBB forum and have modded it to death, both with pre-written mods and my own. One of the things i wrote was to allow other affiliate sto link to it with a code that presented their own banners and links etc.
ie:
http://www.oggs.com/pokerforum/index.php?rf=1003
http://www.oggs.com/pokerforum/index.php?rf=1000You’ll see it’s the same forum shared by different sites, each with their own links etc. Is this the sort of thing?

I like what you’ve done with the mods there. That’s not really what I was looking for though, one of my players asked if there was a system for referring players to the forum and I wasn’t sure what he meant but reckoned it was a good idea, not sure how to go about it though.
I suppose this is like a “refer a friend” program?
I wouldn’t mind one of those, and I don’t have a forum. Refer a friend to my site – I would like that. Give out something special for it.
Yes that’s it exactly, any suggestions? one of my players gave me a link to a program that does this but the download link didn’t work.
Hmm see what you mean. Well you could maybe use a “cash hack” like http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/3614 which rewards people for refrring friends with cash points. Then when they hit so many give them something via NETeller maybe?

Too complicated for me though – they’ve got a thread where you can request people install the hacks for you – looks like i’m gonna have to try that! :drunk2:Got someone to install this for me but apparently the instructions are incomplete – should be something about an sql table or something which is missing
