InactiveI’m just a rookie, but to me it depends on the site. How long will the site keep a player before they look elsewhere. For sites like Party, Paradise and Ultimate Bet I want revshare because I feel they do a fairly good job keeping players. For a site like Pacific I would only do CPA because I think the players don’t stay for very long.

I agree with Pokermonger about Paradise anyway (I can’t comment on the rest). In the end you will make more money on revenue share with us, however, this can be a long process. You also need a stroke of luck in bringing in a gib player.

InactiveI think it depends on your player, if you think most of them are one time pkayer, you should choose CPA commission of course

InactiveIt depends on a number of things, but mostly what type of players are you sending, and what site are you sending them too. If your sending players from a freerolls site, or a site that teaches the basics of poker – CPA is probably your best best (since the players you send are probably pretty poor). If your sending high calibre players – you would probably make more money of rev share. Sites where “cash games” are big, such as Party are obviously rev share candidates. Other sites are generally better CPA candidates, such as sites like Pacific who only allow one table to be played at a time (meaning less rake is taken per hour from most players then at other sites)

InactiveI tend to make the assumption (whether right or wrong) that over time a larger and larger number of players will stick at whichever poker site they have chosed. While it may seem a blanket statement, and I agree with many of the points above, my preference would be for revenue share.

vladcizsolMemberRevenue Share for me. If the room DOESNT retain enough of my players to make it profitable I drop the poker room.

InactiveRevshare any day, in casinos. Just one whale can be worth hundreds of CPA players.
In bingo I like a combination, since players often take a long time to convert.
Poker sites that also offer rake back are better done on CPA since you are very likely to lose your player soon if you don’t also offer rakeback.
If the rakeback trend continues the way it is going now, Poker may well be best kept at CPA only.

InactiveTo add to Randy’s list, it is available at the following rooms also, but I don’t know if they suport it.
Gaming Club, Eurobet, Empire, Pokerplex, Fulltilt, Royal Vegas, 7 Sultans, River Belle, Lucky Nugget, Intertops as well as some other smaller rooms.
It is not an encouraging list.
