    Are we stirring trouble??

Anyways, With prior consent from each program there is nothing wrong with that since technically the money is coming from the affiliates pocket… and many programs have safeguarded themselves by implimenting the over time CPA payment depending on the players activity with the casino….

But really Michelle, you of all people asking about CPA abuse??? Wasn’t there a handful of affiliate programs investigating….err..uhhh…Or maybe you don’t want to get into that right now…..

Since all the listed casinos are Fortune I moved this to the Fortune thread in case they would like to see it.

Gamble Harder, Cali Girl – if you need to discuss something, pm each other. Do not do it here, not in this thread. If you must do it publicly, do it in the free for all section. We have rules about this.

I’m confused how this works for this guy. Doesn’t FA require two successful deposits to qualify for the cpa payment? and how would he be able to deposit the money into their casino account, wouldn’t he need the account password?

    Hi Guys

I have seen this site before.

The important things to note in this case are:
1 – He is not an Affiliate. He is working on some sort of paid campaign with Slickstreet Marketing.
2 – As far as I can tell the money is coming out of his pocket.
3 – It seems that he is trying to get purchasing players by paying them himself with the hope that they will end up eanring him more than his $50 (not sure what the payment model is for this guy).

    Either way interesting link.

Fortune Affiliates has no objection to Affiliates paying for players (if you guys want to do it) out of their own pocket.
BUT it needs to be done within certain guidelines.
Clearly paying people to make 2 minimum purchases to take advantage of our CPa and then recovering money from the CPA payment is not the idea.
If you want to pay a player to register with a small bonus (extra $10 or something similar) this can help your acquisitions.
The gamble is that they may not go on to purchase.
Alternatively you can pay people to register and purchase.
The gamble here being they may not make your money back for you.
This works well on a share-based model where immediate payback is not a huge concern.

    Thanks.

Marc I find it very strange that this guy, who I know has been known to spam in the past, not sure if that holds true for the dude now …
but also the major pain in the rear that is out spamming everyone (there is a thread at Meister about him and post here about him), your answer to that was “Slickstreet Marketing” and you do not know blah blah.

I find that really hard to believe that you are not aware of what is going on here! The “Slick” tells it all to me, you folks love the jerks that will do underhanded advertising and spamming so you put them under a special affiliate program of your own creation, no matter what the unethical tatics are used they are bringing you players right? I am not referring to this special deal this guy is doing right now because I don’t know what he is up to, but I do know that it is looking real fishy.

    Hi Bonustreak

This guy is NOT an Affiliate.

Slickstreet marketing is not part of Fortune Affiliates.
This is a separate marketing company that works with Fortune Lounge.

We do not know how this is working as he does not deal with Fortune Affiliates.
In terms of SPAM if you have been spammed and can’t unsubscribe then send me details (marck@fortuneaffiliates.com) and I’ll take it up with Slickstreet.

Please remember that this guy has nothing to do with Fortune Affiliates.
We do not love underhanded guys and are also not responsible for what other marketing companies do with Fortune Lounge.

    Thanks.

Regarding the CM post and FL/Slickstreet Spam

So it is your position that Shawn and his crew are not affiliated with Fortune Affiliates?

I might be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that this particular site is not pushing affiliate links, but that doesnt change the fact that the spam being sent is pushing your clients casinos and is originating from one of your affiliates! To claim that since he/they are spamming FL but not spamming using FA links is hogwash!

Looks like Fortune Affiliates are leaping back into the fire, screw the frying pan! Get your blacklist updated folks!

Not any one post but a number of entire threads, in the 888 forum, here at CAP.

It is an example of what happens when you allow affiliate incentivized CPA. It just lends itself to fraud and creates a sleezy underground of cheating players and affiliates. You want to create bonus abusers, pay affiliates to incentivize play.

Again and again we hear of programs being defrauded this way, or players being promised money that never materializes.

Fortune has always been a respectable program with an occasional problem to iron out, but slowly I am losing my patience.

Both the never ending spam ( and I am getting close to taking the time to report it also, it is getting on my nerves!!!) and allowing CPA affiliates to incentivize and cheat players is pushing the limit here.

This industry’s reputation is sullied by this.

I am with you there, it seems like it has tripled in the last few weeks, almost like this guy is just rubbing it in our faces!
