the whole point of the thread is to get you guys to realize that this could be a growing and less saturated market which means more opportunities to make money.
Although the google search analytics is not the end all be all, it’s something worth noticing and making a note of. Take it for whatever its worth.

http://www.google.com/trends?q=online%20bingo,online%20poker&geo=gbr&sa=Nps. I don’t recommend promoting bingo through buy.at

August 24, 2008 at 5:21 am #776611Lotto-RadarMemberLet’s do not forget that poker have had a spread coverage offline and worldwide. World Poker Tour, dedicated Poker TV programs in many international channels, etc. We are very influenced by what we see, no to mention also that all of us say “WOW” when we see the size of pots(Million$$$$$)
I believe for Bingo and other no-skill games must find a original way to get offline promoted to the masses in order to have the acceptance and recognition as poker has now.

In the UK I would say the opposite is true, it’s poker that needs the offline promotion. There are around 600 high street bingo halls in the UK, adverts on TV for the game around the clock, press adverts, news papers promoting their own bingo and more. There are a few poker ads on the TV, and off course the channels (that bingo has as well) but it doesn’t have the public acceptance or face that bingo currently enjoys in the UK.
August 24, 2008 at 1:32 pm #776626AnonymousInactiveBingo needs to target essentially the same audience as Poker – people in their 20s and early 30s.
The percentage of young male Bingo players is increasing rapidly. I also think that in order to attract the young female housewives that benefit most from Bingo, these actual life benefits need to be addressed more, rather than just the “fun” and the “win” aspects.
This female demographic spends their days mostly with children and with the laundry etc. Husbands in that age group reading this – think what the most troublesome thing in your marriage is. Yep, the lady needs to talk to an adult human being, and when you come home tired, you’re it. It’s the most common marital problem and makes for lots of tension.
Bingo – the lady can open the hall on her computer, say a quick hello to her peers, go put the landry in, come back and play a couple cards and chat with buddies, go cut up the veggies, come back etc etc all day. By the time hubby comes home the lady has had plenty of talk, talk relevant to her day. And it’s reasonably inexpensive, considering the cost of meeting a girlfriend for lunch and such.
So Bingo is actually beneficial to married life and general happiness, in addition to being fun and a possibility to win something.
Online Bingo will be huge, and the demographic can be reached many ways. The more the merrier.
January 18, 2009 at 12:15 am #792860sukjo1MemberBingo could be as big, or even bigger, than poker. When we say “bigger”, that could mean as popular, or as lucrative, or as dominating in the online gaming world. Poker will always be more mainstream, as it has the strong history in the US and Asia Pacific, as is kept strong via popular culture. More online bingo portals and online bingo affiliate websites will be opening up and getting in on the action, and down here in Sydney, Australia, I’m delighted to advise that we will be part of the action in that space.
