InactiveI went through the exact same thing with Constant. Luckily my list at the time was only 30 people LOL. I ended up at Intellicontact (aff link included FYI
) and have been very happy with them so far. I have averaged about 3 mailings a month or so, but I can do as many as I like. They also have a 15 day free trial. The most important thing is they are gambling friendly. When their acct rep called me, we chatted about it and he was happy to have my business. They are also proactively working on making their services better all the time from what I can tell.CBW

InactiveCan you export you email adresses from mailermailer if you do decide to switch?
September 24, 2006 at 6:08 pm #707195Anonymous
InactiveYes, you can import and export, or add and delete by hand.
They also have a code you can put on a signup page on your site that signs players up directly at mailermailer, with automated optin. You can leave them there or take them out at will.
You can make this signup page game specific or whatever you like and target mails exactly, or target any selection and combination later.
The stats are super too, you can drill each click down to the originator.

InactiveI use MailerMailer myself and it just seemed however to me that many of my emails were not getting to the people. I dont know if there was something on my end so I just stoped and have not sent out email in over a year.
I do love their setup though and its so damn easy. Thats why I still paid them for the year even though I have not used them.
I still am not sure what to do about my email issues but in the next few weeks I hope to find out.Ahh but yeh my whole point of the post was jsut to say mailermailer is solid!

InactiveHi Diceman,
About your problem, emails not getting through. That is common now a days, even legitimate emails get cataloged as spam.
There are two sides to getting past spam filter: server issues and issues with the physical email. When using 3rd party email sending companies there is little to nothing you can do about server issues. But when it comes to emails there is plenty you can do.
First you can have a read at all the things Spam Assassin looks for:
http://spamassassin.apache.org/tests_3_1_x.htmlTo see how spam stealthy your emails are you can check them here:

InactiveMailermailer added a “spamcheck” not too long ago. You can run your mail through it before sending.
My mails get through to all boxes, AOL and all.
