    Marcela,

We have some conflicts here, that need to be resolved ASAP. The Chipleader website now states that all AP links need to be updated by February 28, 2008 (several days ago it said March 31, 2008), so this date has changed, and time is of the essence.

The Chipleader website has an explicit page that talks about what needs to be done to migrate these links. The page is:

    http://www.chipleader.com/ap-affiliates.asp

The text on this page clearly states that text links need to be in the format of:

    xhttp://www.absolutepoker.com/main.asp?host=xxxxx

where “xxxxx” is the Campaign ID.

However, when you invoke the “Campaigns List” feature of your website to “generate” the link code for AP, the link code generates the following type of reference:

    xhttp://affiliates.ultimatebet.com/………….etc.

Note the reference to “affiliate.ultimatebet.com” in this link. This link, when invoked, does do a redirect to an AP splash page.

Marcela, you stated that the “affiliates.ultimatebet.com” reference is OK in a prior post, but this is in direct conflict with the explanatory page noted above that says that links should reference “www.absolutepoker.com…….”.

Since we all want continuity of service, can you please clarify which format needs to be used ?????????? And perhaps the Chipleader Absolute migration page can be updated to reflect the correct way to do it ? The explanation currently does NOT match the “Campaigns List” generation utility.

    Thank you very much !!!!!

P.S. As an aside, there is still no resolution in the Reporting screens to handle my “Blend” method of payment (15 % revenue; $ 50 CPA for new players).

    Hi Marcela,

I know you guys are working hard…but here are the issues yet to be resolved.

    No AP sub stats yet…

No UB sub stats for previous months yet…

Stats overall not updating in a timely manner…

Could you provide an estimated timeline for what is going on with what stuff…just don’t want to be in the dark.

Thanks! Keep up the good work.

Yes, Marcela. Let me second Corpfan1’s sentiments. We know that you and Danielle are working very hard here. We are just quite concerned, that we have switched over to this new system, well before it was ready. There are obvious errors, omissions, contradictions, and certainly a lack of reporting capabilities compared to what we had with Income Access statistics.

We all look forward to getting a clarification on the above on Monday.

Thanks again, and have a nice weekend.

I’m having the same problems with the transfer over of AP from chipleader to this new all in one interface. Now I heard the Vegaspoker247 was merging with AP, I’m curious how this is all going to work out?

I’ve been asking that in another thread here for 3 weeks and have not gotten an answer. There are some serious questions that need to be addressed about that merger.

Ok, I am totally confused also, about just about everything. Not even sure I have correct links.

Maybe someone could PM me and straighten me out.

    Hi everyone!

I just checked with our tech experts and they said that both links are working.

The one that references UB is the one right out of the backend. It is currently working directly with the UB reporting and tracking.

The link that contains absolutepoker.com will cookie as well. Please just remember to grab the new campaign ID from the new backend in http://www.chipleader.com

In the description of each one you will find the old site ID so you can grab the correct one.

If somebody has multiple accounts after the merge please just let me know and we will transfer all the campaign IDs to the account of your preference.

Thank you all for your patience. This is a very important stage of our brand and we have to do all the necesary checking and correct all the problems that may arise. All the feedback we can get from you is highly appreciated.

    Have a great day!

I have changed the AP links last week to the affiliates.ultimatebet.com version and i can confirm that it worked as i got new players through the new link.

I have made the new links through the “Campaign List/get banner html” section.

Will these links work in the future, or should i change them to the http://www.absolutepoker.com version ones?

(You guys made me confused aswell lol :) )

Hi, i to am very confused by it all..

Can you just clear up a few questions i have please.

1.) So instead of logging in to http://affiliates.absolutepoker.com to create links for absolute poker i now log in to
    http://www.chipleader.com ?

2.) Am i supposed to get links and stats for both absolute poker and ultimate bet from the one chipleader account? Do i just forget about my absolute poker account now?

3.) Why is it every link i make at chipleader for absolute poker redirects to ultimate bet?

4.) Who do i get paid from now? I cant seen to add my payment information to the contracts list at chipleader.

5.) How do i change my password.

I logged into Chipleader.com earlier this month and updated my affiliate links. I used the new links that they provided in the “HTML Link Factory” section. After checking the stats today I can see that they are tracking all of sign ups correctly.

The only things I’m still confused about are one; When I login in a message will appear that says you have more then one account associated with this login. I really don’t know what to do about that. Two; I heard that Absolute Poker was acquiring Vegas Poker, are they going to transfer over to chipleader as well?

    Hi!

Yes, now you have to get all the AP and UB links from http://www.chipleader.com

If you don’t see the AP campaigns migrated into your UB account let me know and I will find the correct account and if necesary we’ll transfer all the campaigns to one account.

The links will have “ultimatebet” in them for now, but they are directed to AP. If you use a UB only campaign ID it will by default create the link pointing UB.

You will get paid the same way yo have been getting paid for AP. If you want to change it please let me know too.

To change the password go to the forgot password link in the login page. You’ll be able to do it from there or tell me to change it.

    Have a great day.

    Marcela,

Based on prior Emails and the Chipleaders Home Page link that has “Critical Changes for Absolute Poker Affiliates”, AP links can also look like this:

    xhttp://www.absolutepoker.com/main.asp?host=xxxxx

where xxxxx is the new Campaign ID.

So, can we assume that both this and the format containing “ultimatebet” references, will BOTH be supported moving forward ?????

    Yes, both will work.

The ones generated by the html link factory are the only ones tracking clicks. So I’d advise you to use those.

When that happens there will be no need to change the links again. Don’t worry.

We migrated the main banners. We are still migrating some information. All banners will be added.

    Have a great day!
