Read the post above this one.
But to answer your question regarding GPC no longer accepting US Affiliates, the answer is unfortunately yes. If I had my way, it would be completely different. When we moved over to the Boss Media platform, we also took on their payment processors. And whereas previously we handled our own payment processing and were in a position to make our own decisions with respect to US related transactions, whether for Affiliates or Players, our new payment processor does not facilitate financial transactions to persons with a registered US address, even if the transactions pertain to Internet Marketing vs. Online Gaming
.
They no longer accept U.S. affiliates. Not just players, but affiliates also. And when they moved to their new system, they didn’t bring my affiliate account over, and likely not yours either, since we’re in the U.S.
It kinda sucks doesn’t it?

patOctober 23, 2007 at 5:15 pm #752079finntotoMemberHi Pat and Daera,
Hope you are well. It is Michelle here from Global Player :wink-wink
Pat, I am surprised that you are dazed & confused! I know that you were aware of all the changes and our position where it came to US Players and also assumed you did with our transition to the Boss Media platform where it then affected the affiliates. Several emails were sent out privately as well as notifications in our newsletters. I apologize if you did not receive these updates. However, the post with the quote from Daera explains it all and exactly how it is. Please rest assured though, that we do still have all your data as we are hoping that in the future the US will change their policy. We appreciate all the hard work you did promoting us and assure you that we will contact you as soon as anything changes.
Please feel free to email us anytime on affiliates@globalplayer.com if you have any questions or queries.THANK YOU once more for your time.
Regards,
Michelle
