InactiveParty Poker is official:
http://www.partygaming.com/images/docs/061001_USLegislation2.pdf
They say that if it is signed by the President (they expect it to be in the next two weeks) they will stop all US bets immediately.
Can’t see that this is knee jerk, they will have taken the best advise on the planet about this before coming out plublicly and making this statement.

InactiveStrange that PartyGaming have no problem accepting bets in Australia – are they ignorant to the laws here?
Why break the law in Australia, but not the USA? In Australia the fines are $1million a day so they’re already up for about a billion dollars if they are prosecuted….

InactiveNever mind us – we can always target non-US players, what about the thousands of American players who make a living from poker? They’re the ones who are really screwed here, not just the well-known pros, but the huge number of online pros – I was even one myself at one point! Not to mention the semi-pros and the millions who just enjoy it – spare some thought for them!

Well if these high profile poker players who are profiting from online gaming dont feel threatened and dont plan to change anything, I as an affiliate wont be changing anything either.

InactiveLet this be a lesson to all affilates – once the ban is lifted, and it will, don’t promote those affilate programs that jumped ship!
