InactiveF&CK! I just bought a TV last night! Oh, I am so pissed now…
Altough I went to one of their store closing sales a couple of days ago and the TVs were discounted 10% and the computers 5% LOL They better be slashing prices more than that if they want to move inventory.

InactiveCircuit City has sucked for years. The stores are dirty, the employees are rude, the selection isn’t very good…. Good riddance. :wavey:

AMEN! I remember a while back I had a CC card. My last balace was something like .40c. Not sure what happen to I guess I didnt write the preceeding check for the right amount. Anyway, instead of sending in a check with a stamp for such a small amount, I decided to go to the local CC and pay it. After paying it the clerk laughed and told me to “Get a Life”. Needless to say I never went back to CC after that.

Looks as though they will just be re-oreganizing, maybe if they had a worthy staff in the stores they would not be in such a financial mess.

vladcizsolMemberBest Buy has beaten their asses for years, but it was good to have a choice.

YoungT.jrMemberAlways checked c city then went to Best Buy to purchase as service, selection, and price was better. Competition is good as it keeps Best Buy competitive. We need a circuit city to keep Best Buy honest. I am sure they will rebound, seems to me that Ciruciut had a simular issue in the early 80’s/ Late 70’s can’t recall 100%.

vladcizsolMemberLately we have seen HH Gregg move into our area and based on the Newspaper inserts it seems like they are a competitor to Best Buy and Circuit City.
Back home in Miami we had Brands Mart and they were great for discount electronics.
I think the big membership stores have also added pressure on retailers like Circuit City. BJs, Costco and Sams all offer some good gear at better then CC prices.
