    Hi there,

I have tried emailing support several times for the last three weeks without getting an answer, so I’ll try here instead.

For several months now, I have had continuous chargeback-deductions from my account amounting approximately to my earnings each month. The deductions have always been made the last day of the month. I found this a bit strange and emailed support in late February. I got an answer a week later, even though their policy is to answer emails within 24 hours.

I found the answer a bit disturbing. Some of the email sounded like this:

“… In November last year [2007] we conducted an audit and it was found that chargebacks had not been deducted off affiliate earnings since the beginning of the year. Communication was sent out to all affiliates that were affected. …”

I was also told that my part of the chargebacks was only due to one player, and that my part amounted to $1528.74.

I was hoping you would give me a more thorough explanation, but my emails have not been answered.

And now that I’m posting here, I would like to know, if anyone has ever received any information about this. I would also like to know, if anyone has experienced chargebacks in January 2007 to November 2007. I find it difficult to understand how an internet company can forget to deduct chargebacks for almost a year?

Also, I don’t believe it is standard practice not to notify an affiliate of the total chargeback amount and instead just deducting some of the amount month after month almost evening out the earnings. I have not been hit with chargebacks often before, but in the few instances I have experienced it; I have been notified of the full amount (the amount is also usually visible within the affiliate programs after login in).

For the last three weeks, I have asked support for more information about this one chargeback, so that I could assess it more properly. Other affiliate programs which I have asked about this service have helped me with more information. But as mentioned, it has not been possible to receive as much as a reply from support.

I must say, that you have dissapointed me a couple of times lately, Vegas Partner… :unhappy:

My earnings have never been deducted for this.

I think it is their mistake, how many months can you be held liable for this? We all have to fill in our taxreports : I do not want to see such surprises after a whole year.

I hope they will find a good solution for you.

It sure does not help their rep.

    Best Regards
    Rick

    dfiocch,

You need to email Conrad with your affiliate ID in order for him to sort it out. Your screen name here doesn’t mean beans outside of this forum. Hope that helps.

They are all at the CAC I think can not get through either.

Basically it means you have a cheating player(s) or I am wrong here ?

Hope you will get your answer soon seems very frustrating though.

Well, my initial problem was that I needed more information to assess the issue. I’m generally very suspecious when it comes to charge backs. I need more information than “one of your players made a chargeback of $6000”.

This has lead to my second problem, namely that they have ignored me for a month and posting here doesn’t even seem to help.

Also: They told me that the issue about that they forgot to deduct charge backs from all affiliates in most of 2007 was communicated out to all affiliates that were affected. Has anyone been notified about this, because I know I haven’t??

Oh, yes! It can be! I can have a cheating player, but…

    1) November 2007: -567$ c.b.
    2) December 2007: -300$ c.b.
    3) January 2008: no c.b.
    4) February 2008: -400$ c.b.
    5) March 2008: -1000$ c.b.
    6) Apri 2008: -2452$ c.b.

Now I say… why this player is not BANNED?

    I’m waiting for clarifications…

I have arrived back from CAC and I am tending to all of your queries.

I will respond as quickly as possbile.

For those of you that did send an email to my personal mailbox you
would have recieved an out of office reply, this would have explained
the reason for anyone not having recieved any replies as yet.
