    You would need to contact who you have to domain registered with and tell them you want to add Domain Privacy. I pay, I think only about $9 a year for the privacy per domain.

    To change the information that shows up on a whois lookup you just have to update the information where your domain is registered. If you want it to be private then some registrars will offer this as an extra paid service as stated above and some offer it for free.

    Cheers for that – does anyone know if that applies to .co.uk addresses to or is just .com’s?

    Mort,

    You would need to contact your registrar for that info. Although, I do not see what difference it would make .com. .uk. .org, etc. as you are the one that will be paying for the privacy. Give a call. Call is free and the most I would think it would cost you is about $9-$10 per year.
