InactiveThis also brings up the question –
If a player has downloaded and registered but
A. Never deposits or deposits once and then uninstalls.or
B. Signsup but then never makes a deposit.
Then 2 months later, comes to your portal, sees a promotion or in my case participates in a contest, that requires a deposit, makes a deposit, enters my contest, sends confirmation to my site….
Should the portal they signed up with get credit.
or
Should I get credit since I was the reason they deposited
at the casino …

Inactivesuch is life, you win some and you lose some
all the casinos I know of are working the same, but the issue is not download but install, when the customer installs a client that he downloaded from your site it is YOUR client for life
I think it is just fair, sure you win some and you lose some but I think it even’s out at the end

GuestHi,
I think those are two different issues.
the first should be fixed : I agree
the second; well the easiest way to avoid that pitfall in the case of an exclusive promo you are running; you should make it clear to participants that if they’ve ever signed up there before; that they are then not eligible.

Then this player is bound to you for life because they have already downloaded the software and in the casino’s database.
Once they download and registers, they are your customer no matter what even if they uninstall the software and then decides to download and install again from another site.Quote:Then 2 months later, comes to your portal, sees a promotion or in my case participates in a contest, that requires a deposit, makes a deposit, enters my contest, sends confirmation to my site….Should the portal they signed up with get credit.

at the casino …Again once they’ve already downloaded and registered to that casino, they are yours for life. So if they want to participate in a promotion at another portal and had to deposit some money into a casino that they’ve already registered at, they should NOT be eligble for the contest. Your rules should state that they must OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT to qualify.

I am not sure what you mean but we are not gambling here with the affiliate program. The program should be straightforward and done with the correct business ethics. Each casino (aspinalls, grand online, golden palace, flamingo, gold nugget) should be treated as a seperate entity and not just one because after all they are seperate casinos. It is not fair that if you are on the CPA model, you will only get credit for one signup even though a person downloads and deposits money into each of those casinos. Each of those casinos are promoted seperatly and they each have their own seperate website so in turn if a customer deposits money into each of those casinos, the referring affiliate should get credit for each of those casinos and not just one.
Sure if you are on the Revenue Share program its all good because if you were the first person to refer someone to ANY of those casinos then you would get credit for all 5 of them even though the customer found out about the other casinos on another website. But lets get real, Golden Palace is so well known and their marketing tactics are out there. There is no doubt in my mind that tens of thousands of people have already in some point downloaded and installed Golden Palace. What that means is that if they went to your site and decided to play at Aspinalls or any of the other 4 casinos, you would not get credit because they’ve already registered at Golden Palace and all 5 casinos are treated as one. Do you see where I’m getting with this?

I’m glad to see someone see how wrong the Casino Blasters program is and is not fair to the affiliate.

InactiveTo be fair, I’ve done better with CasinoBlasters than with any other group, and Golden Palace in particular is my best converting casino.
I think having a brand name that people recognize might help with conversions, even though there is some market saturation already.

InactiveI just started pushing all 5 of their casinos this month where as before I was doing 1 or 2 a month and I am suprised at the revenue it has brought. It is by far my best performer this month and the 200 % 4X wagering sticky bonus wagering terms are VERY favored by avergage gamblers. In fact when I first started gambling I loved these 5 casinos the most!
I have the advantage of communicating with my members first hand and using promotions or contests to get them to sign up at all 5 if possible, or I try to get them to get signed up at as many as possible and watch who’s playing where……

For what it’s worth, I agree 100% – I have a asked a few programs that I promote to pay me separately.
I get very tired of making good money with one casino and have their “sister” casino that I don’t even promote wipe away my earnings with some random “winner” at the end of the month. Not very cute in my opinion.
Likewise: if you were “Mr. Casino Blaster” and you operated 5 casinos, the IRS would want you to keep separate books on each casino and for good reason, too. It’s already WAY to easy to fudge the numbers in a casino… when you’ve got five casinos… anything can happen, it’s five times as easy.
Not much you can do about it though…
