InactiveI don’t use a popup blocker because I want to know if I am infested with thiefware. I’d rather just get rid of that immediately.
I don’t mind one popup when I leave a place.
What I hate is popup hells where places spawn them like crazy.

Inactive:shakebutt I too have hated them since they started, and, I’m proud to say I have never clicked on a pop-up! :dafingers Maybe they’ll someday get the message if everyone uses a blocker or just never clicks on them!

InactiveI think the problem is one of perception more than anything. Few people like to have adverts and stuff thrust in their face and whenever i land on a site that throws me a popup, unless the website has something totally unique, i rarely go back.
Even worse, those ones that fly around the screen over the text. Even if a site is unique, i NEVER go back to those. I stopped using my favourite site Lastminute.com a while back ‘cos of this and as a result i found latedeals.com which is just as good and without the hard sell

I wonder how many players get that negative vibe when they hit a casino website, compared to how many actually click the popups. Pretty impossible to tell i guess. Unless you run a survey of visitors in a popup window

InactiveI think online casinos would be wise to turn off the download casino now pop up which you receive on hitting their site. Annoying as hell and IMO a major turn off. If the site is well designed and interesting, you are more likely to become a player there.
