This has occurred to me, too, but apparently whatever processor it actually is, they will continue with existing accounts but no new ones can be opened.
… and that makes very little sense. If they are unable to offer processing for new accounts; how do they plan to manage processing for old accounts?

abbykungMemberIts definitely about risk management, I completely agree. Maybe after those 3 big poker sites got busted by the DOJ, more sites are scared the same will happen to them. Processing payments is clearly not in issue, even if it is a bit harder than it was before.

InactiveThere must be more to this than just “risk management” or processors. It was what 2 years ago when Kentucky actually took domains of casinos and they all remained in business. Now just because 3 poker rooms got their money taken by the Gov – it’s a risk management? No way! And a lot of casinos are business as usual, so not much has changed in the processing world, maybe a bit of a panic and a rate hike, but that’s about it.
I feel that CC was somehow in cahoots with the poker rooms’ processors and now are afraid they’ll become colateral damage.

I thought they had said they were losing a processor? Further I have noted numerous issues with affiliates having their QT payments processed …

InactiveYep, the two events are possibly connected. But – it’s all speculation and won’t lead us anyplace.
