I just got the email. They are no longer taking canadians. I hope you don’t have any high rollers from any of their casinos as you will no longer be paid for them. Thats sucks. Some of my best players are from canada.

They sent the exactly same mail that blasters did. I remember
last november us clients from blasters or somewhere were sent to
bestcasinopartners.I Wonder what might be the reason for this canada issue??
June 14, 2007 at 6:17 pm #739639AnonymousInactiveThe reason is simple, the government (in canada that means each province) owns the rights to gambling, except horseracing which is controlled by federal ministry of agriculture. Operating a gaming house in canada is a felony.
As long as they don’t take canadian bets, they can operate freely (but still subject to most US gaming laws, because of extradition treaties) in markets outside Canada.
While almost every country wants to control gambling at home, they seem ok with their citizens running gambling outside their own borders.
The success of the US in damaging the industry has the anti gambling forces in canada wanting similar actions. Canadian media is fervently ant-gambling. It appears to be a spring ritual here.

Hopefully they’ll continue to accept U.S. players. I’d hate to build up a player base there, only to have everything thrown in the trash a few months from now.
