DanmanMemberHere we go… another Martyn sob story thread!
What he doesn’t know is that once Paypal have waved their magic wand over the $/£ exchange rate and nabbed their share of the commission, it works out a considerably bit less than £70.
Still, I reckon if we all poke fun at the hapless Beaconator, this thread is a sure fire winner of next week’s CAP Money.
Come on people, commence the public mocking!

vladcizsolMemberSorry Martyn but I have enough speeding points of my own to work off. Its a bugger to be sure. After ten years of not getting any tickets I got nailed TWICE in a four month span and both of the tickets were total crap. One was for going 34 mph in a 30 zone (four lane divided entrance road to where I live!) another was coming down a hill at 41 mph into a 35 zone. Argggh!
Funny thing is when I am with the Mrs. she can drive 95mph for three straight hours without incident, but when I drove at a normal pace I got popped.
Thank heavans I seem to be off the “most wanted” list again as the tickets stopped as suddenly as they started.
Good one on the CAP Money though, hopefully that softens the sting some what.
Now dont use the money to get pissed at the local pub and get whacked for driving impaired :3eyes:

Errr funny you should say that, went out on Friday, spent too much and ended up in a Chinese Karioke bar unable to talk properly let alone sing!
It’s weird, while working at a previous UK Bookmaker for nearly 3 years, I had to drive 60 miles a day along two of the busiest motorways in Manchester. I am always running a tad late so with a more powerful car you can make up a bit of time along the way. And not once did I ever get caught speeding!
Then I work from home, nip out to buy a laptop (2 miles away) and boom, a dibble in a bush!

ZlzmbmaxMemberHaha – “…a dibble in a bush…”
The best of luck to all other readers around the world trying to run that through Babelfish!
It’s a phrase that sounds like an arrestable offence all on its own
