We went to a hotel in city after cause we are here longer and didn’t want to be so far so don’t really know much about the close proximity to CAP Hotels.

Not sure if the Fira still has rooms, but it’s one minute walk from the convention…
Fira does not seem to have any rooms at this moment.
I know that some people are staying at SolMelia, perhaps you can get a room there..thans guys, found a really nice place in the harbour not too far away from the event, http://www.grandmarinahotel.com/eng/index.html
