When did this happen? We are still standing and most of us are making a hard push at growth.

Is there some new way US people can make money from online gambling yet?

Yes we can! US affiliates are still earning 5 and 6 figure monthly incomes from the gaming vertical.

Please explain the steps and process if there is.

    Proven methods:

    1. Build a quality website loaded with unique content, optimize it for search engines, exchange links with similar sites, drive traffic to your site via all available means including PPC, Offline Advertising, Web 2.0 communities, Player Message Boards etc…

    2. Conduct legal and ethical email campaigns.

    3. Develop your own promotional ideas like eBooks, viral marketing and similar.

    4. Add this one to all of the above: WORK REALLY HARD

Nothing has changed except that payments are slower or more erratic.

I haven’t been around since they shut down US gambling affiliate stuff.

    I must have missed that….

Thanks for the information Professor. :)

I guess I was probably thinking that US players are not allowed to sign up then, but US based affiliates can still work the international players?

If us players couldnt sign up id take a good loss per month.. not sure where you are getting details from.. microgaming refused some states, playtech pulled out but there are plenty on gaming places that take US players still!

I live in the US and I play all the time. I play slots at two different microgaming casinos with no problem. I play poker with three different poker rooms with no problem.

Wow thats crazy! What are some good casino programs that allow US affiliates and US players?

Isn’t there still some risk (for US based affiliates) of being thrown in prison/fines after that US gambling ban legislation a few years back? I haven’t been in this industry for a few years, I don’t know if they lifted that ban or what.

I was looking at a few programs today and tried to sign up. One of the payment methods was Neteller and when I logged in, it said:

“Accounts in the United States of America have been disabled due to recent legislation.”

What are the most common payment methods for US affiliates?

Never was a ban per se on affiliate marketing of casinos, poker, bingo, skill games etc… Sports betting is a dark grey area though.

UIGEA dealt primarily with banking. It did not direct itself towards players.

    ACH/Wire Transfer

    Quick Tender

    Affiliate Speedpay

Check via snail mail or courier

Just wanted to jump in and mention that a number of US affiliates with US traffic are working with non-gaming programs and have successfully diversified their traffic.

    They’re making a pretty penny too. :)

We’re talking retail, lead-gen and the soft game affiliate programs.

Income Access’ sister network Share Results works with some great programs ideal for poker and skill gaming affiliates looking to get more value out of their US traffic. WSOP Academy and Real Arcade are a few standouts.

Collectively I earn more from retail programs now then I do from most of my gaming efforts. Diversification is always a great idea and why not?

That being said gaming is still a very lucrative vertical to work with.

Thanks for the resources Professor and LeMichelle. I am well on my way to starting up my gaming sites again, I hope I’ll be able to make some cash this time around in gaming.

That Share Result stuff sounds like some great supplements to the gaming stuff and I’ll take a look at it.

    Best

Depression is a hell of a thing. lol I would ad that to the list of things you have to do “Keep positive and dont let the shortcommings break you”. I speek from experience on that one lol. I am still in a stuggle to pick myself up and figure out where to start. At least the pro. laid out a big picture lol.

I went back to getting a part time job and making chump change like everyone else lol… I hope to jump back
