I forgot to mention that on one of his sites, he has ads for google on the top of his page for online gambling.

When I put ads for google on my graphic design site, clearly on the Terms and conditions of google, you cannot use their services on a gambling related site or did I mis interpret their T/C’s?

Where you find these sites ?

I think whoever was just too lazy to finish the site most likely

As for Google, i have an account and can throw ads on my site if i want, haven’t yet, but might consider it

it “violates the terms”, but what does that really mean

advertisers pay google on a pay per click, so where are they supposed to put all those casino supplies ads, google’s terms can be overlooked when it profits them i assume

i never even applied for the account, it was voluntarily given to my gambling site, didn’t even know i had it until recently, maybe because i’m not in the U.S. might have something to do with it

That is correct. I emailed Google last year. They replied, if you are in the USA you can’t use Adwords to advertise a gambling site. Then I RE’d “that I see Google ads for gambling sites” and they replied, they are not in the USA.

You can place Google Adsense ads on your site, which will target the sites’ content, even gambling sites.

I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but recently RB stopped letting us promote aces high, showdown and some others ,…. I believe they cut down to 4 casinos.

so what might have happened is the webmaster just universally replaced aceshigh code banners to redirect somewhere else until time allowed for him to switch the banners.

an outside shot but I’ve done that before when I was in a hurry and pissed at the sponser.

Same in the UK…from Google UK’s Adwords terms: “Advertising is not permitted for online casinos, sports books, bingo, and affiliates with the primary purpose of driving traffic to online gambling sites.”

Maybe the guy is selling PPC to his clients using Aces High as a clickable inventory. The probability of people clicking on those banners is quite high so he is just inflating the clicks for his clients without great conversions…or he is just plain lazy and didn’t change the banners.
