vladcizsolMemberMark I moved this thread to the Industry Events section.
There hasnt been much feedback yet about Moscow, but my hat is off to Marc if he managed to coax a significant number of affiliates to attend.
Personally I would love to see Moscow, but its one of the most expensive cities in the world and it is a hell of a long journey from the US.

InactiveYeah, not heard an awful lot on this one, not even in the lead up to it!
Maybe it was just me being out of the game for a bit but I have tried to monitor the boards.
Would love to hear more on it!
Cheers,

CaptainetteMemberA friend of mine traveled to Moscow as an affiliate and reported that mainly Russian speaking people attended the conference. I am sure the stay was of good value for people from Eastern Euro countries, bur rather an “entertaining event” with long party nights for non Russian people.

Moscow is a great place to enjoy good times and I will most likely join the event next year, if my schedule permits. By then the “Russian part” of my website will be up however.

Sorry for the quality, some were done in a rush :blush:June 18, 2008 at 7:24 pm #770481
sofdawgMemberThanks for the feedback, all!
There’s a lot of potential in the market, I think, despite the legislative uncertainties Russia currently facing. I’m extremely glad we opted to send our bi-lingual Russian Affiliate Rep to this event, especially in light of his and your own feedback regarding the predominance of mostly non-English speaking attendees.
See you in Barcelona!
