I live in simi paradise. No snow gets down to 40’s sometime, at least 5 times a year. Today was 80 and not a cloud in the sky. The beach was full with plenty of bunnies. It’s springbreak!!!!! I’m an old fart but still like the scenery.!

    No way!
We just got a bit of wind and frozen showers in Montreal. Fun, fun, fun! Winter should never go away. The sidewalks should stay slippery and frozen forever. Where will I wear my hot collection of thermal socks and toques if it get warm and sunny? How will my pants get their salt stains once winter is over?

NoooOOoOoo…..I don’t want to give these things up!

If you’re in need of a good beach destination, Venezuela hands down. The weather’s perfect even in the rainy season, the beaches are beautiful, and the best thing is that few tourists go there, so the beaches are also empty!

    Any doubts… Google Playa Medina!

I think I want summer so badly I’m almost wishing for a sunburn!

I cant wait to get my car out of the garage. I keep it stored during the winter and now I’m dying to drive it.

As for a vacation, probably wont do much this summer. Have to catch up on some work since school has been kicking my ass all winter.

    Simi Paradise??? where is that???

    Carol and More4me…LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Venezula, sounds wonderful, do you live there, or frequent? is it expensive or can a poor person have a good time there? lolllll

I can smell the spring air, just around the corner, and it smells wonderful!!!

I just hope that the slow down on the gambling of my players picks up this summer, instead of slowing down like normal in the summer, cause if it gets any slower, i won’t be going any farther than my Bath Tub!!!

    LOLLLLL

    Hi Triple777s,

Unfortunately I don’t live in Venezuela. I live in Montreal, and I don’t get to frequent. :(

I used to work in Venezuela and got to go to the beaches every weekend. I think compared to a lot of destinations it’s very very reasonably priced as its not a big tourist destination.

There are some expensive places, like Los Roques, which is a national park made up of lots of tiny islands in an archipelego, but still not that bad when compared with other Caribbean spots.

And trust me, every winter in Canada I seriously question why I live here and not there at the beaches!

Anywhere in the south of france would be my dream destination. I hope I’m able to make it there this year.

The weather forecast said that Sunday would be sunny and 12 degrees (celsius ;)). It began snowing today…and now the forecast says 10 degrees. Hopefully, it won’t drop any further, because I’m reaaaallly looking forward to having a nice, spring-like Sunday!!

I have the same sentiment everyone!

This is as clear as I can put it, the over-welcomed-its-stay winter weather is Jamaican-me-crazy! :) Which by the way is a cocktail drink, perfect under the HOT sun! I hope to do it soon. Very very soon.

    Cheers!

12 degrees in April in Canada is sadly enough considered a very nice warm day.
