InactiveThere’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to talk about our own experiences.
No reason.
We are humans, thus we can think for ourselves.
We aren’t monkies; we have the ability to judge for ourselves what we think of one person’s experience as opposed to our own or other experiences.

GuestHi again,
Well what it boils down to for me; is that I don’t want anybody to be afraid to say what they feel about a program and I promise to keep it to myself if they were to contact me and tell me of their experience.
at risk of poking fun at myself; the world is full of nutcases who are always approaching people to tell them one thing or another.
Just as I’m sure the person I contacted wouldn’t have run out and cried the world is ending if I’d have said the sky was falling; I’m certain they did just what I would do if someone told me the sky was falling; look up.
That’s all I was trying to accomplish. Just saying hey; look up.
only in this case; its look up on CAP. lol.

GuestI forgot to add;
Dom does make some very valid points; things do change as time goes by.
Perhaps we should re-hash some old tunes and see where everybody stands with them now.
I hasten to add however that if a program had a bad reputation; they likely earned it; and deserved it.
Climbing out of that hole is never easy. Programs should take heed of that and make certain they never fall into the “bad rep” category.
a bad taste stays in the memory a long time.

InactiveSteve,
I think, looking back at this post, a lot of it is a private conversation between you and me, between the lines.
Others reading can’t see the undercurrent.
So, in the spirit of your initial post, I would like to talk about it with you in private.
We have been “seeing each other” in a way almost daily for years, experiencing and learning the same and similair things, and there is a lot that you and I are aware of that others are not.
I want to give this attention, and today, Sunday, is not a good day for this. I’ll try to write to you on Monday.
Meanwhile, there has been some hostility in this thread – I don’t think I caused any of that directly but if so, I apologize. I definitely do not ever intend to be hostile to anyone, it is totally against my nature. Life is too short to spend it arguing and scrapping. I know you know that, Steve, and thank you for showing that, too. You’re cool!

InactiveI prob shouldn’t enter in to this thread but I will to give my perspective as a newbie.
I understand both sides’ views but as a new person in this field I want as much info as possible. If they are great I want top know why they are great. If they suck,I want to know why they suck.To give an example We recently signed up with one of the “we’ll build a casino free for you”groups. After signing up I read a post on this board about them.If I would have read this before signing up I would have asked smarter questions. As of right now they have our money and aren’t answering emails.I realize different people may have different experiences with the same companies but the way I can make the best decision is to have the most amount of input possible.I apologize if I have interfered on this one but reasoned that since so much of the thread was about novices that I would give a novice’s input. Thanks and have a great day.
