Worth looking at expedia for properties close to Chain Bridge. You will find some last minute rooms on here and nearly the same price as the conference organisers offered it. That is how we booked ours. Intercontinental is also another fine choice next door to the conference hotel.

Yup. There’s seems to be no problem with rooms in other hotels. We were looking for one in the same hotel as we already have one and don’t want to be in separate hotels…
