Also note the message said that they would not accept transactions from my jurisdiction.

Inactivehoursurfer wrote:I just called Bodog and they said the only thing that changed was you can’t deposit with Neteller.Wow, are sites starting to run away from Neteller overnight? This is even worse, since there isn’t a good alternative. Once a void exists, it will take time for any one payment mechanism to emerge as the best alternative, the way Neteller did when Paypal dropped out of the market.

It appears that I jumped the gun. It looks as if perhaps only NETeller is not being accepted at Bodogs possibly. NO. I am not in one of the 11 states.

Inactivethey said they stopped using neteller to protect their customers incase peoples funds got frozen or somthing simular and neteller accounts for only 10% of there deposits

Inactive>> only 10%
what are the other 90% ?

vladcizsolMember10% is absurd. Bodog is radically different then all the other online gambling operators if that were the case.

Inactiveyer it does sound low, but thats waht they said when i phoned the affiliate manager.
he said somthing like they have been pushing there instant deposit / echeck system pretty hard ( also other ewallets ) and i had read somwhere that they were one of the first gaming companys to start echecks.
I guess time will tell, i’ll see how this 2nd half of the month does compared to the first.

triplecrownMember10-20% sounds about right. Newer casino clients usually just use credit cards, which is easier than having to go through the hoops and rings of Neteller. When I was operating an online casino, we got about 10% in Neteller deposits, but they were seasoned players.

vladcizsolMemberMost US Clients cant use Credit Cards. The banks decline Gambling Coded transactions. I know none of my cards work at the online casinos or poker rooms I have attempted to use them at. Thats why eWallets are so prevalant.

Inactiveyeah prof is right, alot of credit cards dont work when depositing, however i read somwhere at PAW that 1 of the poker rooms said there no.1 deposit method was still credit cards for US customers.
i spoke to an affiliate manager supervisor at CPAYS and he said when they accepted US players that neteller was around 50% of deposits.
so i think different programs will see alot of varience and i think the current ones who accept us players would have been pushing other methods like bodog, AP and poker.com ( i only know about the poker sites as that is now my main area) and they have said there neteller deposits are no where near as high as the old industry standard % which i guess could of been 60%+
but from what i have seen, the us accepting poker rooms are taking more seriously then the current us accepting casinos, so i guess the varience could also be very diff just between casino and poker as well as the different programs

InactiveBodog also processes their own checks I am sure most people use that instead of neteller
