    Hello,

I have a problem with Bodog and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get this resolved in a timely manner.

Most of my promoting for Bodog is done offline. I have many people ask me about where to bet sports and play poker. So this is where I send them. I usually just send them my link via e-mail. I have no problems with tracking or stats, but have had three calls in the last week about accounts being closed and poor customer service.

The one I received last night went like this.
Caller: My account was closed at bodog 3 days ago.
    Me: Why?
Caller: Because they said me, scott and connies accounts are all related.
Me: Why would they say that?
Caller: Because i’m working on the road in Oregon. I made my bets for the early games before I went to work. I called Scott in Indiana to have him log in my account and place my later bets since I couldn’t get to the computer. (Note that the names and states have been changed).
Me: Well that’s why they closed them. How would they know Scott didn’t wrongfully log in to your account?
Caller: I understand that, but I told them what the deal was and they said ok just fax in my information and credit card stuff. I had to fax them the credit card stuff 3 times because they said it was too dark.(I have heard this from many players when they try to cashout).
Me: So now they have everything?
Caller: Yes but my account was still closed tonight when I got home. I called them and they told me to call back in 3 hours. The same shit they’ve been telling me all along.
Me: Ok i’ll see what I can find out.
    Caller: Thanks.

I have since talked to him and 12 hours later still nothing. He has basically had enough of their poor costumer service. He understands why it happened. He explained to them what the deal was and followed through with everything they asked. So why are they not opening his account? I know everything here is the honest truth. He isn’t even trying to make a withdrawal. He simply wants to play poker or bet on a game with HIS money.

Does anyone know who I could contact about this poor costumer service problem? I have some very big players that i’ve sent there and will have to send them elsewhere if this continues.

The other calls I had were all to do with customer service. Wins marked as losses until they called and they noticed the error. Then took 14 hours to have it credited to their account, etc.

How can this happen at a top place like Bodog?

    Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Any suggestions on where to send these types of players?

Thanks for the info – I just setup a redirect to bodog for some offline whales who have been banned from all london casinos and are looking for somewhere online. They are a bit dodgy to say the least I hope if they end up trying anything on Bodog don’t punish me for it. Should probably consult my aff manager first.

Meanwhile – I’m having trouble logging in for two days, anyone else?

Yeah, they’re putting currency options into the stats. Apparently, players will soon be able to play in dollars, GBP, euros and rand.

    to doodle>>>

there is not much that can be done until they review the situation completely. i would expect bodog to flag such plays and do a thorough investigation before re-opening the account.

just think of the amount of players that would regularly try to defraud bodog. or any other sportsbook. for every 10 valid players, there is always someone trying to make money illegitimately. that’s the gambling industry for ya…

as for customer support, i’ve previously been in contact with bodog and they were top notch. i guess it goes on case to case basis.

as for fax not being legible, i don’t think this can even be counted as a reason :) if a fax is not readable, it will need to be resent as many times as necessary until they can read it…maybe scanner can be a better option?

    just my 2 cents…

why dont you give your AM a ring ?

When you signed up and they gave you your passwords etc – they always (or used to) give you full contact details for your am which included email and dd phone number.

Who is your AM btw ?

    Bodog use invalid government seal:

    Something to be concerned about?
