I had Pete as well, not heard anything since he left, and this month has been an atrocity. No payment, and all big players mysteriously not playing anymore. Could be a coincidence..

I lost a big player recently. I keep screenshots of the activity so could demonstrate how the stats had changed retrospectively. It was my biggest player and of course they just said it was “fraud”, which was hard to swallow as he had been playing the day before. The only fraud out there is chargebacks and this did not look like a chargeback situation. It is frustrating not knowing the honesty of these USA-facing firms.
Is that really true that Bodog bounced a cheque on you? That is the one thing no sportsbook should ever do. If Ladbrokes did it to someone in the UK it would be in the newspapers and their share price would tumble. Surely there was some reason other than lack of funds as to why a Bodog cheque would bounce?

Sounds like they might be going to the wall, after the domain problem. They’ve never been the greatest for affiliates.

I’m certainly not denying anyones problems here, it’s just strange to me. I’ve never had a single problem with Bodog, and Alex is great. I love promoting this room, wonder why it’s so hit or miss for aff’s?

AlanAces, was that bounced check from last month or ??

I have to agree that Alex has been a great affiliate manager, and as well have never had any problems with them yet.

JustBookies, Bodog and Ladbrokes are two completely different situations. Ladbrokes is Non-US facing, they know they are breaking no laws. It’s a lot easier to pay people that way. Bodog knows that they are breaking U.S. Laws and they also have a company that won a lawsuit against them in the U.S. I don’t know if the bounced check was to a U.S. affiliate or not, but I’m sure they keep very limited funds in any U.S. bank account they have. If the U.S. government or the company that won the lawsuit find one of their bank accounts, they are going to empty it for themselves.

The point I am making is that integrity is crucial in bookmaking. No bookmaker can ever bounce a cheque on anyone and retain any credibility. It is simply unforgiveable for the bookmaking business. That issue is totally irrespective of whether the sportsbook is facing the UK, USA or the planet Zog.
The guy who talks of the bounced cheque on this thread has not explained the situation so I am not about to damn Bodog for a situation I know nothing about. They have always paid me fine. I have no complaints on that so far.
I only wanted to know if anyone else had not been paid this month as Bodog have been so admirably prompt until now. I have now received a reply from their affiliate department (no name on the message) stating payments will be made “by the end of this week.”
I will continue to promote Bodog but I do share the frustration of losing clients (and the one I lost most recently was a big client) and there is no way of telling if there is anything unethical about the way that client was wiped off my affiliation.

our bodog payments are always mid to high $xx,xxx – we usually got paid on the 10th except last 2 months it is 15-20th. My manager told me yesterday the payment went via wire so will update when i get it.We have a small acct with them in $xxxx range and he said that payment will go via moneybookers friday.

    Still nothing here…

If it is any consolation I have not been paid by Bodog yet either . . . and as if on cue I have just lost another Bodog punter and my NGR stats have halved for last month as a result and I have the screenshots to prove it. This is the third time in about three months but there is simply no point asking Bodog why it has happened yet again (“fraud” is the standard response but no further detail).
I have joined the BetUS affiliate programme and will give them a go in the number one spot and demote Bodog. My confidence in Bodog is getting shot to pieces. Please tell me I can trust BetUS – they are CAP approved.

No. They have not replied to my message nor have they paid, but given it is easter little surprise there.
Casinobonusguy – did you get your moneybookers payment on Friday as they promised?

With all due respect to those in this thread, I would say your overreacting.

Everybody that promotes “mostly” sports is going to have weaker stats because the NFL football season has passed and many bettors go into hibernation until late August when american football comes back.

Bodog is solid. Anybody that says their not a good affiliate program has no idea what their talking about. They are and have been top 3 hands down for not only myself, but almost everybody I know!

Hang in there fellas, the industry has changed a bit and things don’t move as fast as they once did. You’ll get paid and your players will likely come back next football season.

I have still not been paid by Bodog. They promised it “by the end of the week” last week. That was a lie. I dont think there is an overreaction at all on this thread when a previously good sportsbook starts telling lies to affiliates and will not pay them. Is this a neteller issue with Bodog or not? Have any of you guys actually been paid yet?

No I haven’t been paid either and don’t know who to contact since Pete left a few months ago, not even sure I was assigned a new aff manager.

    Hi Guys,

Can’t comment on payment as we only signed up to the Bodog Affiliate program in the last few weeks.

Have to say though, I’ve been having e-mail conversations with Alex Beckett for a couple of months or so, and he’s always responded to my queries pretty quickly. Certainly one of the more helpful individuals I’ve encountered.

That having been said, of course, I would understand this counts for nothing if you’re not getting paid by them!

I’ll let you all know how I get on when I’m expecting my first payment!
