    Hi there,

The Jackpot Factory Casino Group has decided not to take bets from certain states and jurisdictions – Blocked States. We have therefore put certain technical measures in place to help us enforce this. One of the measures includes determining where your IP is from.

    Blocked States:
    1. Illinois,
    2. Indiana,
    3. Kentucky,
    4. Louisiana,
    5. Michigan,
    6. Nevada,
    7. New Jersey,
    8. New York,
    9. Oregon,
    10. South Dakota,
    11. Utah, Washington,
    12. Wisconsin,
    13. Kentucky

    Kentucky and Utah are new.

While the players (not that many) can’t play they can withdraw their money.

    Hope that’s clear.

    Thanks, Lloyd

    They can play casinotime.

The law relates to the residence of the player.

    Cheers, Lloyd

The law relates to the residence of the player.

    That’s what’s wrong with this.

The actual law relates to the location of the player, not the residence.

People have to obey the law of only their current location.

It may be illegal to see a prostitute in your home town, but you can see one in a Nevada brothel. Gambling maybe illegal alltogether in your state, but you can go play in Vegas.

There are countless examples of how laws only apply in the jurisdiction that issued them.

Maybe someday there will be “world law” but we are very, very far from that now.

If Obama gets in then anything you or I ever dreamed of as possible in peaceful, smart world is possible.

If he doesn’t, we’re really in sh!t creek

I think the US needs Obama or we will be screwed further in this industry.

I think its just nuts that people who do things that are perfectly legal where they are get charged with a crime in a location that has no jurisdiction where the “crime” occurred.

Somehow this is going to come to a head sooner or later.
