InactiveLovely.

2 of the seven should deposit next month or so.
Did you target bingo or women and not casino players?

I keep sending the traffic, because I am presuming that some of these sign-ups are going to turn into real players…..but I have cut back on the traffic. I don’t like these results at all.

Did you target bingo or women and not casino players?I’m running a pop off my slots site…
Still, I understand that the conversions will be lower with bingo… but why run the bingo pop when a slots face pop over the same numbers would have brought me at least 4 or 5 real players?
At lest that would be some cash flow…
Bingo doesn’t seem worth the effort… look at Janets numbers.

InactiveBingo players do not consider Bingo gambling.
They do play slots sometimes – but you are not likely to find a lot of bingo players on your slots site. Bingo is primary orientation, slots can occasionally be played by them also. Video poker may also be played by some.
But the majority is actually anti gambling.
Unlikely to be found on a gambling site.
7 fun players off your slot site is actually more than I would have expected.
Stick with a slots pop on your slots site. It is a lot more profitable.
And I have no idea who Fergie is sending to the bingo hall.

GuestI’m sending people who are searching for bingo halls.
SERP under bingo games, online bingo, etc.
Pretty targeted, I would say.
Even if they were from, say, a slots page, (which they aren’t) out of all those sign-ups, I would expect more than 1 to sign up and actually play for money.
But, I just signed up in June, perhaps the free players will convert.
I think I’ll stick to poker and casino games as my focus.

InactivePeople always play for free until they see some of their chat buddies win.
Then they want to win too…. I sometimes get a handful of them converting at a time, and that is why.

GuestIn conclusion:
Income from bingo players is not instant – it starts slow and gathers momentum with time.
Bingo players are more loyal, so their value, although small at the start, is high in the long run.
Does that sound about right?

InactiveThats right, although I have noticed a worrisome start of the promotions trying to lure Bingo players with higher and higher bonuses. If that gets to be successful, Bingo will suck because the profitability depends very much on their loyalty.

InactiveAgainst my better judgement I started a bingo website. I knew that there was more money in far more industries than what bingo could offer, but for some reason I took the plunge anyway.
My traffic is still low, but most other affiliate programs would have earned me at least $50 bucks off of 111 hits. Instead I’ve earned a whopping 2 bucks. That’s around 2 cents a click.
I actually dont know of any other affiliate program outside of amazon that could produce this small of a revenue. Hell, designing a website about anything and throwing up google adsense would earn more per click.
And Dominique, I realize that your numbers for bingo are decent, but you’re averaging about a dollar a click and that’s including residual income, if you had sent that much traffic to any other affiliate program and with the amount of effort your applying towards this program, you would have earned just as much if not more. If you have a genuine interest in bingo, this interest probably is a good indication why you’re more successful than the rest of us at this. But I think a lot of webmasters here only work on websites for money.

vladcizsolMemberIf I have said it once I have said it a hundred times. BINGO Profits are minimal and generally wildly overstated. If it takes you over a year to build up to an income of $600 it hardly seems worth the effort.
I have thrown traffic at all the major programs with the exception of Bingo Hall and I have been underwhelmed with the income.
Yeah Yeah Yeah I know Gambling traffic doesn’t convert for Bingo, but as Fergie stated she has SEARCH ENGINE TRAFFIC targeted at the terms that Bingo Players should be searching for. So its not really gambling traffic it’s Bingo traffic and it still produces mediocre results. And I will tell you this, if Antoine has difficulty earning money with a segment then that speaks volumes.
What was the name of this thread? ….. Oh yeah BINGO SUCKS…
I concur.

InactiveTrue it isn’t much – but I spend no money on Bingo.
So the ROI is just fine.

Consider that this runs on several halls, it adds up every month and I am not complaining.
I don’t think PPC traffic works very well for Bingo – it does bring players, but you overspend.
The only campaigns I have run that had a decent ROI were targeting women with banners.

GuestI found this interesting since I never put up their names or links of any kind to my memory. is it a ploy?
Hi Steven,
I operate http://www.bingoreward.com the affiliate site for Geisha Bingo and Bingo Liner. I have noticed, from my web logs, that we have received bingo players from your website and you have not been credited as they have come through as untagged. I would like to give you credit for these players but, I cannot, as you do not have an account with us and do not use the correct tags to identify referred players as your own.
Please sign up at http://www.bingoreward.com . Drop me a mail and I will reallocate the players to your account. You will receive the commission for their play on the 10th of every month.
Thanks very much for your support
