InactiveThe Firearms Industry, the Pharmaceutical industry and even the porn industry are all great at lobbying their cause. Why the hell is the gambling industry so inept at protecting their turf and pay some good guys who can slip some envelopes to the right people.

Plus, their top lobbyist is under indictment in Federal Court for bribery etc., charges which include some legislators.
Makes it tough to make an argument when you’re battling something like that. They now have to re-group and find a more reputable mouthpiece to tell their side.
Will be an uphill battle to restore some credibility at this point. In the meantime, the “other side”, like Dom mentioned, have the upper hand.

InactiveWell, it’s not a secret, when CNN is happy to tell everyone who will listen. Especially when legislators are caught in the net as well. You can be sure there will be lots more publicity as trial dates approach.
Seems we need more discussion and not less. Secrecy seems to cause more problems than it solves. Ignorance is no defense when you break the law.
