InactiveIf you can catch him in, try calling the toll free # to BetCris and simply ask for Scott from the affiliate dept. I have contacted him this way before.

InactiveRight, I’m about to drop these guys. I haven’t telephoned but I’ve e-mailed [email protected] which bounces, [email protected] which is ignored and [email protected] which was also ignored.
They’re making me nervous and I no longer trust BetCRIS – so they’ll be history as far as my sites are concerned within a few days. If they can’t be bothered to show enough courtesy to reply to my e-mails then I can’t be bothered to promote cowboys.
Any suggestions for a decent, US-friendly alternative?

nick777MemberI would wait a bit, Fictionnet – Scott emailed me about a banner question I had. In fact, he emailed me a week ago 2/13/06.
Their stats are updating as well.

InactiveThey won’t be able to reply to me as every one of their e-mail addresses is bouncing.

nick777MemberI just now sent an email. I’ll let you know if it gets returned.

InactiveCheers.
Some of the bounces have taken several days to report back.

nick777MemberI just received this email from Christine about their emails bouncing back:
Hi Jim,
Nope, I received it. Do you happen to know which webmasters are having trouble with their emails?
Regards,
Christine Daniels

neuroMemberThe email is not being blocked from us. It must be your isp that is blocking you from emailing us. I suggest you contact them and ask them if this is the case.
If you can not reach me via email, feel free to call. If I’m not at my desk or on the phone at that time, leave me a message and I will get back to you. 866-bet-cris ext 3313
Thank you,
Scott Martin

InactiveScott
If the ISP blocks anything then it’s via their spam-filter and is based on content, not e-mail address. Also, any bounces are instant.
The bounces from you take a few days and say that the address doesn’t exist.

neuroMemberISP’s can block specific email addresses.
I know my email address exists because I get hundred of emails a day. I also know we do not run any spam filter at a company level. I personally run a spam filter but I filter through that each day by hand as well.
Thanks.

InactiveBack in December I think, emails to BetCRIS were being ignored and finally when I got one through Cristine explained they hadn’t received any of the others. I hadn’t received any messages about delivery failure. I just put it down to one of those email things and moved on. Why am I telling this story? To highlight that it might be at your end Scott because I’m another that is having problems and without knowing FictionNet’s ISP I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be the same as mine unless he is using an Australian one.
About to send a request so I’ll see if it gets through to you Scott. Affiliate CA910.

neuroMemberHi Jarvi,
You’re payout request came through loud and clear. I’ll have it sent out first thing in the morning.

InactiveMy ISP is Virgin (UK).
As it would appear that I can’t e-mail you for whatever reason, can I please issue payout request here for account CC3476 ?
March 1, 2007 at 3:28 pm #729133
neuroMemberHi Fiction,
You’ll have that in your account later today.
If for some reason you don’t get a reply to an email, unless it’s a request for advertising
then you can assume that I didn’t get it. Give me a call. If I’m on the phone or away from my desk, leave a message.March 10, 2007 at 1:15 am #730251Anonymous
InactiveIn my account, I go to ‘marketing’ > ‘banners’ but find that there are no banners.
Instead, it gives me campaign editing options.
