    Hi Sara,

For my 2 cents, I’d say first off that for me personally, the integrity and reputation of a casino is more important to me promoting it than affiliate incentives. A casino with a good player reputation, speedy payouts and good suuport is more liable to retain players which is the key, for me anyway. If i see a casino not treating a player properly, then i tend to shy away from carrying it, as i believe all affiliates have a moral obligation to do so – and I’m not suggesting you guys fall into that category, just stating the way i work.

That said, regarding affiliate incentives, most of those i see from programs tend to reward webmasters who send a minimum level of traffic and this is a turn off as it means you could spend time and effort promoting a casino and never reach the qualifying threshold, particularly if like me you are relatively new to the game (6 months in my case).

Nothing concrete there i know, but an opinion at least :)

    Cheers

    Well put, Simmo!

Since Kiwi has an impeccable reputation, the first set of concerns can be put aside here.

And yes, contests have to be winnable by everyone. If you just want some top affs to compete harder, promise them bonuses in private. People need to know that they can actually win a contest.

Personally I have always liked a temporary increase in percentage paid…

We never promote a group because of an incentive. Either we do well with a group … or we don’t – simple 😎

What I am saying is that the incentive programs are not bad as such.. just that any program will get more out of an affiliate if the earnings are consistent…..and if you like each other……

soooooooo… after that meandring rable above… basically – it comes down to the relationship and not the incentive… ;)

    Good points, guys.

What I like to see is regular contact between the casino and the players – a regular newsletter or whatever to remind them why they want to come back to the casino.

    Hi all,

Many thanks for all your invaluable responses and kind words.

Simmo, your 2 cents are worth a lot more in any currency possible!! ;)

Dominique, hats off to you for your endless support.

All your points are extrememly valid and taken to heart. Fergie and Peralis, you couldn’t have said it better. Naturally, the bulk of the weight in a “promotional” decision-making process should go into the relationship, the product and its complimentary services and support…..all of which we value highly and continue to place our greatest efforts and resources.

I suppose what we wanted to know is, with all things being equal, (i.e., with the above criterions being met), what type of a promotion would you like to see in a program that you place great effort in promoting? That is, what would encourage you to up that effort? E.g., cash bonuses, trips, merchandise, etc.?

Keep those brilliant feedbacks coming.

    Cheers.

    Sara

I’m still waiting for some poker site to offer a free satellite entry into the World Series of Poker. That’s what I want!

Trips are always good for me Sara. Me and a partner for a holiday or weekend break somewhere where it doesn’t always bloody rain would be good :)

    Cheers
