Inactivewell, I’m not entirely clear on what you are looking for, but this thread desperately needs a bump!
If you need something to manage the ads on your site i’d recommend phpadsnew it’s free and sorta easy to use (once you get the hang of it, it’s a snap)
cgi scripts I’m afraid I can’t help you.

InactiveI understand that CGI tracking scripts function much more quickly than PHP (get visitors to the next site faster). I see them used on many of the more professional / robust sites.
In any case, what I am looking for is a script that I can put on a page so that for a given page, I can see very clearly which links my visitors are clicking on and which they’re not clicking on. Most of these scripts seem to have analysis packages built into them as well. I also need it to return a 301 when checked with a server header checker. I’ve been using Ccount but I recently learned it returned a 302, which apparently Google does not like.
I really thought this was quite common. Didn’t realize it would be a crowd-stumper.

InactiveTheres a variety of counters here, not positive how extensive you want it, I have tried a couple different ones here and they all seem fine.
