InactiveNyet,
My players are a playing, it looks like this should maybe beat last month but that is usually the case …. So I am not seeing any trend here. Holiday months are normally better I have noticed. And if I look at say a three year trend, the holiday months lead up to a great winter season as you get lots of relatives hanging out and playing etc …. I love winter cause everyone is stuck inside.
Its a bit cold way up here so that is a good sign. The only difference I can imagine would be less fear of terror attacks so a little more travel then the last 2 years of the past.

InactiveActually, at close of business on December 1st, I’m already at about 5% of my total income from last month… which would put me at about a 25% increase over November.
Several factors to consider, though, is that:
1) November sucked…
2) December started on a Monday… and…
3) You really cannot gage a month by a one day performance.
When November ends and December begins, that’s just a made up break in time for business purposes… Players attitudes and patterns of play do not change that much when the calendar rolls over. More likely, it’s Christmas shopping and holiday travel that hurts us.
If I recall last December, I did about 70% of my normal business.
Hey Professor, isn’t December traditionally slow?

vladcizsolMemberDecember is usually slower then November. Christmas shopping plus holiday gatherings keep people offline more then other winter months.
My biggest months tend to be January through March. Then a slight rally in July that I have never been able to figure out.
My predictions are we will see medium to good performance the first two and a half weeks of December then you might as well close up shop and enjoy the holidays the last ten days of the month as things will probably be quite slow.
